    It just kept going down- won’t connect to the app, therefore you have to reset it along with all the passwords. Finally- it went down and asked to be wired to the PC itself. No thanks. Pretty unreliable in my opinion. I owned for approximately 2 months

    Connection drops every hour.... Asus send support to seek squad... and geek squad send me back to asus.. infinite loop... going no where... no support for high end.. unit.. it's 4 month old...

    Really disappointed. This router was defective. Signal strength bounced all over the place, and gaming lagged to the point where the game was unplayable, even hard lined. Had to return it. I am debating trying another unit, but this thing drove me crazy, so I am hesitant to drop the money on such a bad experience.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I wouldn’t give it 1 star. I worked for a little over a month and then began having issues. Had my cable provider to check all my cables to verify the problem with 2 separate service calls. NOT dependable, not reliable, and definitely not worth the experience.

    I was told at the store this would support WiFi 6ghz but this is a lie. I would have been better off buying something online but I like to support the brick and mortar stores. I am disappointed.

    i had this router for 4 days now, connection dropped everyday, didnt make any changes, configurations was all good straight out of the box. maybe i got a defectived router, i returned

    Ive been a Netgear user for years, and decided to switch things up a bit. Asus makes some of the best computer computer components and i have to say... they certainly didnt disappoint with their router! You can prioritize internet traffic with the built in QOS service for gaming, streaming, working at home, and a few other categories. Speed doesnt seem to dwindle no matter how many devices are connected. And the UI is very user friendly and offers many features for advanced users as well. Top notch router at an affordable price!

    Saw great reviews and decided to try it since I was making the switch to fiber internet but wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend so much on a router, I always had issues with the cable company supplied routers or the Nighthawk I had randomly dropping out and needing to get power cycled. Sometimes they would also start losing connection to some devices on my network that would force me to re discover them. I could also never go outside my 1,500 sqft house and keep a wifi connection, ever since I switched to this router 2 months ago it has worked flawless with my hard wired devices and even better with my WiFi ones, I can now go out to my garage or back yard and still have full WiFi signal and I haven’t had anything drop out once or need to get rediscovered. I can say it’s worth the price so far but I didn’t expect much less from ASUS. It made it feel like any other router is just a waste of money. Side tip if you are looking into fiber speeds of 2G or more, this router supports it with a 2.5g or a 10g port you can use, most of the cable companies will sell you on the higher speed internet and only supply you with a Router that has only two 1G ports so they essentially will gladly take your money for a “faster speed” that you will never get because of their “free” router that will choke it down.

    I went over to my firends house and i could feel a difference in gameplay compared to my lesser router no lag latency was amazing and plus you feel like your ahead of everyone in every game 100% recommend

    Very easy set up and great range. I have not had any issues and get on average 800-900 download speeds.
