This router is fast and easy to setup using the ASUS app. The UI is user friendly, and bundled with extra security features. I’m my opinion, this ASUS router is much better than the Netgear the only comes with a 90 day customer support.

Overall, disappointed with this product. I have had other ROG products in the past, and this one by far performed the worst. Ever since getting this, we've had intermittent connection and constant drops. Just recently after 2 years and 2 months of owning this router the whole thing just stopped working. I attempted to reset it back to factory defaults and it won't even boot up anymore. The manufacturers warranty expires after 2 years. The app is easy to use and the setup was hassle free. But the product itself needs work.

The speed is very fast and has a long range to upstairs computers. The signal has been dropping in and out. I thought it was the Internet connection. I switched to a better internet, but the same thing is happening. I should have gotten the warranty but it was too expensive.

Coming form another Asus, the RT-AX86U, this one is more stable and also has a more responsive interface. The ROG GT-AX6000 has a new generation ethernet port, the 2.5GHz type. I'm paying for a 1.2 Gbps Xfinity plan, but I constantly get 1.4GBps, so, yes, I do recommend this. Comes with all kinds of settings. If you know what you're doing, you can select your Wi-Fi channel, create a guest network, share files from a USB stick, setup a VPN server etc. etc. I can say that I'm really impressed with this Asus ROG GT-AX6000 router.

Ordered this May 2022. Recieved it in June. Love it! Rarely loose a connection. My old wifi router was dropping connection and buffering alot. No problems at all with this Router. Performance is excellent. You have so much control with the app you have to download. Takes about 20 minutes to setup. I'm impressed. Bandwidth is not a problem. I can have 12 devices connected and no issues. I'm not pushing it to it's limit like some lol. Buy it and you wont regret it. I waited months to give a review. Only makes sense to do so.

more wifi range! loving the extra 2g ports and the app to optimize for gaming & get rid of devices is helpful. although setup was a pain and for the price not worth it. try and find another option if you have the budget. netgear offers some for same performance half price.

For whatever reason, I've always had disconnect issues with netgear and linksys. Once I tried Asus routers I've never had a single problem with them. I picked this router because I like keeping some of my devices wired and needed the 2.5G port in and 2.5G port out. Some routers claim 2.5G, but when you activate it, it's only for a single port (usually you set it to WAN so your wireless devices can take advantage). This one allows 2.5G WAN and a dedicated 2.5G port going out, which was exactly what I needed.

We purchased this router to replace a dying Nighthawk router and have had it for over a month now and love its speed. We usually have five devices working at the same time either streaming a movie or gaming. No one has had lag concerns. Great purchase!
