It's got not only it's primary Wi-Fi node, but also supports a guest Wi-Fi node AAAND a separate VLAN dedicated for the isolation of connected IoT (Internet of Things) smart appliances!
Now all I need are some Wi-Fi 7 capable devices!

I have been using the GT-BE98 Pro for about a month, and it has lived up to its promises. So far, so good. Very strong and powerful signal throughout the house.

The 4x 2.5GbE ports and 2x 10GbE ports really make this worth the money. Add that to the way this router utilizes 2 bands of 6Ghz WiFi as a backhual and standard offering for devices actauuly makes a 6GhZ mesh system worth it. Or maybe only worth. However thr distance of the wifi isnt great with the fater speeds this thing offers. So if thats your primary reason for purchasing this keep that in mind. My home network uses the Dual WAN and is a hybrid of Aimesh and Cat6 runs. Having the ability to have multi-gigabit WAN connections and then more ports to send that across my homes Cat6 is a must have for me. The GUI isnt unfamiliar from other Asus router offerings and still seems to operate much like all other Asus Dual WAN routers. So kinda meh for some but I never have had an issue. I hate RBG so being able to turn it off on thr router is also very nice.

If you’re looking to future-proof your network, the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro is the way to go. I upgraded from a Wi-Fi 6 router and the difference is night and day. This Wi-Fi 7 beast delivers blazing fast speeds, smooth gaming, and excellent coverage throughout my entire home.

This router pushes amazing signal quality over long distances, regardless of which of the three bands you’re using. Unfortunately, it costs so much that my wife said no.

Update from a Linksys EA 9500 to achieve 2.5G speeds. I have not been disappointed. This ASUS BE98 Pro is a beast. Robust safety and speeds. Easy upgrade. Now using ASUS to build out the rest of my high speed network.

Was a little iffy at first, but after a firmware update it is running super fast and well balanced in my home with tomany connections to wifi. Upgraded from a WiFi 6 to this and the mimo is way better.

Great features on the router. Some of the gaming features helped but the QOS you can switch from adaptive to traditional. I found that traditional worked better for me. In the end, I ended up taking it back for the price tag of $700 it wasn't worth it to me. Instead I got a Flint-2 router that's operating just the same if not a little bit better for $125.

The router seems to work fine. Setup was smooth, internet stability and latency seem really good, with some exceptions: I noticed that QoS does not work correctly. After updating firmware with the same issue and doing some research, it turns out Asus has just decided... not to fix it and hope nobody notices. To this day adaptive QoS, arguably an essential feature, on their most expensive flagship router is unsolved, a year later - and that's almost hilariously negligent by any reasonable measure. It makes me wonder what other features are being outright ignored that may not function correctly and seriously cuts my trust of the company. I am not buying a flagship router that has broken features a year after release, and for all i know will not ever be fixed, or firmware that will stop being updated in 2 or 3 years given the current negligence. I will almost 100% be returning this. Asus routers used to be good - I used them forever, but these days companies cant seem to commit to sustaining anything that works out well, so always research that the TOP performers are before buying, forget brand loyalty.

This is a good gaming router however I do not believe the power level of that great compared to what actually I get from Xfinity gateway router also it tends not to want to switch channels when you apply a new channel and save it probably software issues.

This router is the best one I've ever owned. Its advanced technology allows for future-proofing - ensuring it will last for many years to come! The app UI is very easy to use and allowed me to setup a main home network, 5G and 2.4G guest networks, and a 2.4G IoT network. The security capabilities are also top notch!

Super expensive but super worth it. I have 1GBps internet but my 5 year old router was barely giving my devices 300 mbps over wifi and constantly had disconnect issues. Upgraded to this beefy monster and all my internet issues disappeared and now I'm getting 900mbps down over the 6g band. And easily 6-700 over the 5g band. WORTH THE MONEY
