    I feel that I can’t leave a great review because this isn’t the best on the market for its price point. It can only handle Ryzen 2 generation processors. Meanwhile the B450 tomahawk can handle Ryzen 3 gen and is still cheaper than this option.

    Wouldve been better if Bluetooth . Very nice with the rgb. Only has 3 fan channels. And my audio never worked on this crappy mobo

    I loved it before it crapped out on me.

    I thought this motherboard was amazing but, boy, I was wrong. I've had it for just over 2 months and I decided that I should try my luck with a manual overclock instead of PBO, the very first try I only set it to 4.2ghz (ryzen 3600x) and didn't touch the voltages. Now it refuses to even try to post at all and I've done EVERYTHING short of re-seating the CPU which basically won't do anything. Now I have to buy a new motherboard and reinstall everything on my computer, get a new copy of windows, etc. DO NOT BUY THIS MOBO this one is weaksauce AF. My last mobo was an MSI and I did sooo much stupid stuff to it and it never did this.

      I'm sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the quality of this motherboard. Manual overclocks are not generally recommended unless you are very confident with the system. If you haven't already, I recommend using the onboard clear CMOS jumper to reset your BIOS to stock settings and clear the overclock without disassembling the machine. I have linked a guide on how to do this below. Once the CMOS is cleared, you will be able to enter the BIOS to change the overclock or re-enable PBO.     Finicky LAN connector

    For the most part this motherboard is good, however the unit I received has a very finicky LAN port. The LAN plug has to be very precisely positioned in the port in order to maintain connection, and if it gets bumped at all, I lose network connectivity (yes I tried multiple LAN cables). Granted the product is under warranty and I could have it replaced, however I have already activated Windows on this motherboard and do not want to have to pay for another Windows license, not to mentioned I don't want to have the downtime while waiting for the replacement process.

    The box doesn't straight up say it is only AMD compatible. I purchased it and ended up returning it because of this. The I/O shield on it is very nice though.

      Thank you for your feedback. Buying an incompatible motherboard for your CPU certainly sounds like a frustrating issue. This motherboard is not compatible with any Intel CPU. It is considered best practice to check the QVL for your motherboard choice to verify that it will work with both your CPU and memory modules. I have linked an example for this board below.     Overall a decent product. It does have some capability issues with the wraith prism cooler but its a very good entry Mobo

    It's a budget board - with mediocre performance

    If I could do it again, I would go with a much more expensive board. This thing has audio output issues with crackling, and the board is surprisingly flimsy and thin. It runs a 3600 ok, but everyone warns that you should not upgrade the processor due to voltage regulation issues with the cheap power phase on this board. Overall displeased.

    a week after set up the Computer Mother board Died, went to make some food to get back to the computer to find the screen froze up an not it will no longer load up the Bios or even POST had to order a another different model

    Got a Defective Unit (May 2020)

    Don’t waste your money on this mobo. I bought this for my son’s first gaming build and the Ethernet port was defective straight out of the box. Of course we didn’t know this until after completing the build and by that time it was too much of a hassle to disassemble everything and return the card. We ended up buying a $15 network card from Amazon and that fixed the problem, so it was 100% the motherboard fault. I know not all units are perfect straight out of the box, but you can get a cheaper x470 mobo with better performance. We only got the b450 because X470’s were sold out almost everywhere, and there’s a reason for that.

    Between the Aura service glitching constantly, only having 4 pin 12v RGB connections, multiple gpu incompatibilities, and more this was by far the worst motherboard I have purchased in my 35 years. Never again will I buy a ROG Strix anything or a motherboard from BestBuy knew I should have stuck with Gigabyte from Newegg. If this piece of crap didn't start having more and more isssues the AFTER my return window I would take it back and replace it in a heartbeat!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS MOTHERBOARD!!!!!
