almost all B450 motherboards do the same thing. However, what separates them is the features it comes with. This motherboard has a very clean look and the built in IO makes a more smooth installation. This does come with the infamous Ryzen 3000 desktop ready orange sticker. Meaning it supports not only 2nd gen Amd cpu but also gen 3 cpus.

i am a fan of asus motherboards. this is one of my favorites, attractive , plenty of connections for fans . easy to use Bios. i had originally ordered this from Newegg, it would not boot up after install, returned to Newegg and purchased from best buy. did not come with thermal paste so make sure you have some on hand.

Very easy install with no issues. Able to update with CPU installed using a thumb drive with the updated bios and my new AMD CPU 3600 is running great! Sound is nice and with my new 1650Ti GPU, I can decode all my video files in about an hour which was 4 hours of time with my old 8150 system and HD7850 video card.

Needed a new MB right away because a power surge killed my old one. Luckily my BB had these in stock. It was really good for the money and had all kinds of cool features, been using this for almost two years and still running strong with my Ryzen 2700x.

I paired this with a R5 3600, it should boot out of the box unless its new old stock(mine thankfully did) but you will need to possibly tinker with some of the uefi settings. I have three storage drives in my system and only two of the SATA connections were enabled, you might need to turn those on as well as the back USB c connection that was labeled as intel (not sure exactly what it's called at this time but hopefully that will take you in the right direction). All in all this is looking like a great board but if you don't know what you are doing I recommend having someone help you set everything up.

Overall good mobo. nice aesthetics and decent price point

Built pc using Coolermaster H500 ARGB, Asus ROG Strix B450-F, 16GB ram, WD 2TB drive, 500GB m.2 ssd and Asus TUF 1660 Super OC 6GB video card and EVGA 600w 80 Plus ps. Board was easy to install, stable and has cool lighting that is not overpowering. Would buy again.

Excellent features, and good looking motherboard. I was hesitant about the LED lighting, but after adjusting the lights with the Aura software, I must admit that it made the whole build look a lot sharper. Very pleased with this purchase.

It's a ROG, so you know it's good. The key info is it's easy to install hardware and setup bios. Certain chip coolers will not work, so make sure they as AMD specific as the first dual INTEL/AMD one I used did not fit.

The motherboard was not a cheap as the other B450 boards out there, but I have had no issues with Asus motherboards, so I decided to get this one for my son's computer build. So far no issues. Very happy with the performance.

Another top notch motherboard from ASUS to finish off a multitasking station. The led’s on the top left add a hint of color to any build. If you’re on the fence about getting the motherboard, I would greatly recommend it!

My son loves his Asus ROG Strix B450-F motherboard. It looks great and hasn't given him any issues. He is very happy with its performance. I didn't have any issues installing it and plugging in the processor and components.

This Strix board comes with pretty much all the bells and whistles of the higher end boards except for a few features. I love the look of the board. I love the options it provides and that overall is just what I needed.

I got this board delivered and it was nothing but problems from the beginning. It wouldn't even turn on. So i switched it out with a working motherboard and it worked fine. So I returned this one and got another one. The second one works fine. It's not the best for memory overclocking. The VRM on the board is just OK, not the best. It looks great and seems to be a reasonably well built board otherwise. I'm typing my review on it. I was able to get the XMP profile loaded. It was delivered with the latest BIOS that supports Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. I believe at this point you are almost guaranteed to get one with the updated BIOS as these typically sell out and are replaced with new stock motherboards.

In all a good and easy motherboard to work with, I had a easy installation with it although some stock coolers for CPU's would bump into the ram and make it a tight fit

I was worried that this wouldn't be ready for Ryzen 3 processors, but it worked out of the box with my Ryzen 7 3700x. I absolutely love the built in IO shield (I always cut myself when installing them).

Love asus they are always updating they bios main reason I chose them over other brands plus i went with a msi b550 mag and it died less that six months later
