Best Gaming Laptop Out There

This was the best combination for me as the 18 in ROG Nebula Display is SOOOO beautiful. No it’s not OLED but it’s very very close and I almost prefer this because the sunlight does not affect the screen as much as if it does on an OLED. The fan output can be adjusted and really I only ever hear if I play big games like Repo or Warzone or something like that but even then, I am wearing a headset and can’t hear it. Cons: Asus Armory Crate I’ve heard isn’t the best BUT I’ve read plenty of complaints where people say to download G Helper instead. I just did and I’m messing around with it now but it seems to help a lot more already. It is a 18 in laptop so a lot harder to carry around but I have a backpack designed for 18 in laptops and keep it in a felt hard case off of Amazon and does just fine. It also makes me feel like I am at home with a PC because the screen feels like a monitor so that’s nice. Overall, this is a solid gaming laptop (still has its kinks to work out) with little adjustment to the whole laptop genre from console. I’d give it a solid 9/10 while I’m still figuring it out but as far as laptops go, this is one of the best!!

It upgraded my spouses previous 13 year old ASUS of the same caliber; back then; which is still operational. This new ROG is used daily for his remote job, where the graphics play an important part of what it is used for, along with many types of job reports. To date, it has been an incomparable replacement. It's awesome as he really appreciates its super fast response time, along with the screen also being great. This was purchased for the top of the line specs that we could live within our budget for. It's not the cheapest, nor the most expensive!

RGB would either not turn on or it would be a solid blue color. I tried changing it with ASUS software and it would not work. Furthermore, too much ASUS bloatware...they actually have an option in Bios you need to turn off for one of their apps so it doesn't reinstall automatically. In addition, after doing a clean install I would still have many ASUS processes running. I like my privacy and not being able to remove all their items is a no-go for me plus the obvious hardware problems. Once again, ASUS has proven to me, after all these years of not buying from them, that they have not improved their QA. SHAMEFUL

It runs smoothly and looks great. I'm no computer expert, but I'd recommend this rig (given the limited time I've been using it).

Extra large 18" screen size great for gaming from table instead of directly on lap. Will keep for 4-6 years till I upgrade again. Only minor inconvenience is 16:10 aspect ratio. I would purchase my next laptop with a standard 16:9 because some games can be finicky with it. Overall great.
