Awesome mITX x570 from Asus!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stays cool and has enough connections to make my build work. I have currently, 3 case and 2 CPU fans running in a small case. I will agree the HD audio connection was a pain but considering what size of equipment I'm working with, everything has been excellent!

Best of Small
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first small form factor motherboard I have ever worked with. It had the most robust feature-set and usb ports of the form factor currently. Of the complaints I have, most can't be levied against the motherboard, the form factor can be pretty infuriating to work in. The end result though can be pretty great! P.S. its in the case, I swear.

Mini itx build
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great board! I had left over components from another build and decided to build a SFF computer. The computer produced from this board is fantastic. Cool, fast and powerful.

Great MOBO for SFF
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Mobo. I came from an Asrock Sabertooh w/e mobo for the intel 4790k about 7ish years ago. Mobo technology has greatly improved. The mini-itx board was the first product to work with in SFF design and I dont think I'll ever go back to a full ATX build ever again.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after years of going with intel based systems i decided to take a chance and go AMD with a 3950x... powerhouse of a chip but wanted it to be in a sff case. This motherboard was the way to go. no over the top rgb (cant be seen on the case anyways. and easy to set up and get going. completed the build in 20 min!

This board is Awesomesauce!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small powerful motherboard. Some of the best components taken from bigger expensive boards and then expertly crafted into this tiny form factor. Pros Excellent power delivery, handles even high end cpu's. (my board and 3800xt went to 4.4ghz base clock with just auto tuning) Small size (seriously the box it comes in is tiny and this board is perfectly packed inside and long with the extra's) Wifi (2) Gen 4 M.2 slots (full speed at both, though room for a heatsink on the back of the board is a consideration for those drives that require it for thermal reasons or just have big shrouds for led effects) Nice lighting (2) ram slots, only needing a pair of sticks cuts down on price vs 4 peice matched sets. 12v and 5v rgb options X570 chipset is supposed to be around for a minute yet Cons (2) ram slots, if you want more capacity(32-64gb) bigger sticks can be more expensive Power delivery just wont be as macho as bigger boards with more phases, a trade off with small form factor which limits extreme overclocking Limited connectors for rgb means if you have multiples you will need splitters for cables, or devices will need to daisy chain Small size means connectors get crowded quick with out a little cable management Price... which is debatable to some, its a consideration, but to those who see exactly what they want and get it, money is of no object

Great board; compatibility can difficult.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As good as it gets for AM4 users building in an ITX case. This pairs best with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D or 5950X. It’s accept most overclocked RAM (4000MHz+) modules. It’s got double M2 NVMe slots running PCIe 4.0. Buyer beware, this motherboard does not have a BIOS flashback option. Meaning, CPUs released after this board may not be compatible until you perform a BIOS update… which you’ll need a supported CPU for. Allegedly, AMD will provide a CPU upon request or ASUS maybe perform the BIOS update for you. Either one could take weeks.

Great motherboard, horrible configuration
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Board works as expected, is well build and easy to install. That being said, it will barely fit the stock cpu cooler for a Ryzen 5, which seems like an oversight considering the socket type. When building using this motherboard, I spent at least a quarter of my time trying to figure out where the front panel audio connector was, and once I did, it didn’t fit. Luckily onboard audio works fine. Perfectly good mobo if you’re willing for a somewhat tricky install depending on your case/components.

Maybe don't? Idk...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid enthusiast ITX board. The noise absolutely killed it for me though. I knew the X570 chipset wasn't passively cooled but c'mon ASUS. 4500RPM on the VRM fan while idled? It seems ASUS has abandoned ever updating the BIOS to allow custom fan curves for it too. So it just sits there and whines like a mosquito buzzing in your ear all day long. I have the ATX ASUS Crosshair VIII board in my other PC and that board is also actively cooled. It doesn't make this noise. Everyone on Reddit who has this board is complaining about the same thing. Amazing board, but the noise will drive you mad. Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the unnecessary dismantling of the IO shield just so I could plug in the HD Audio connector. Rude ASUS. And one more thing... the lack of a front panel USB-C connector in 2020 is just offensive. I'm disappointed in ASUS for the first time. This killed X570 & actively cooled boards for me. Returning this to Best Buy next week and replacing it with an Asrock Phantom Gaming B550.

Bios flashing is a nightmare
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mobo is excellent and I would recommend it only if you can handle flashing the bios with an older version cpu. You can get a boot kit from amd, it'll take a couple of weeks and then you have to send it back. It works great, no issue, rgb is neat.... but ask yourself this. Do you really need two gen4 m.2 slots? If so, do you have thermal pads for the back m.2 slot? Will it fit your case? If you are not going to need the back m.2 slot, get the 550 version instead, plus it has the USB based flashback which is going to make it easier to upgrade your bios for the newest generation cpus. Trust me, it doesn't deserve 5 stars because this x570 foes NOT have a usb bios flash option. It was a hassle for me that I don't like dealing with, but if you have an older gen cpu, and you're cool with that. By all means, go for it and enjoy this motherboard. It is ideal for a small form factor build.

Best Mini

Works well but pricy
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This board is definitely the best x570 itx you can buy for amd. Only thing keeping it back for me is price because it fluctuates and goes out of stock all the time. I would wait for a price drop to approximately 250 for MSRP. Only winning factor the strix has over the aorus is the Gen 2 usb C port. Otherwise it’s the same board!
