Great Motherboard easy to install and setup. I don't see a need for the cd, I always download the latest drivers and utilities online.

Thanks to the Geek Squad it seems to be working great. I had gotten a different one earlier and Amazon sent me a used one that wouldn't post. I paid for a new one not a referbish one.

Overall it's a solid motherboard but an expensive one. Here are the main takeaways that matter to me: Pros: 1) Easy and intuitive BIOS menu 2) Plenty of different USB ports on the back panel 3) Plenty of NVMe slots to support even the hardest gamer/content creator 4) RBG on the board works with Corsair's iCUE software. Helps if you have Corsair's AIO/Fans/RAM to have everything synchronized. 5) Heat sinks for NVMe slots 6) Good soundcard 7) PCIe Gen 5 for future-proofing 8) A button that you can press to release the graphics card attached to PCIe slot instead of trying to get under the graphics card and release it 9) Smart port locations for easier cable management 10) Support for DDR5 up to 6400MHz (I use Corsair's Dominator 5600 MHz 32GB w/o any problems w/ XMP On) 11) Easy to follow motherboard manual if you're new into PC building 12) An easy to use Web-site to get all of the drivers for the motherboard 13) Wi-Fi 6E support Cons: 1) RGB on the motherboard is not bright even with the lights in the room off. You can barely see RGB on the motherboard unless all of the Fans/GPU/RAM/AIO screen(if applicable) RGB is off. You can still see it but it's ~80% dimmer than everything else in the case. (I mean most people won't care about this at all) 2) I wish there was another USB 3 header on the motherboard since a lot of new cases require 2 USB 3 headers to have all USB front case panel ports active.

I was using a MSI Pro 690 wifi prior to this board. Got this one for 250 bucks which was a steal considering its improvements over the MSI board which was the same price. BIOS is much more robust and easier to navigate. IO is good. Performance with a 12900k is as expected. I am also using XMP2 profile on corsair dominator pro ram 6600mhz. Works with zero hiccups, I waited some 100 hours of actual gaming to report the stability of ram at 6600 but it handles it no issue at all even with a 12th gen processor.

This motherboard was amazing until it wasnt. Lasted about 3 years. For some reason or another the Nvme drivers stopped working and I could no longer install the correct drivers.

Picked it up on sale a year ago, still works great. Plan to keep it around for a good while as I make upgrades down the line.

Great motherboard with high performance and lots of built in features

I payed 250 and am begound thrilled with this board, at its sale price its a insane value that revivals 300-400 boards, while having rxcellent quality, easy bios, very very easy bios flash back, and soooo many headers! Never had a motherbaord with this much io! and the add in m.2 card is a really nice bonus, as well as pcie 5 and m.2 5th gen compatiability

I like it. More than enough drive connections and USB ports for everything. No issues with my I7-13700k processor after updating the bios firmware from a prepared USB drive, which I created on my old setup before disassembling my rig for the new components. DDR5-6400 works on XMP profile with no problems.

It's a great motherboard. I have it paired with an EVGA FTW3 3080Ti and an Intel 12700k and Corsair DDR5 ram. Make sure when you purchase you install the latest version of the BIOS to decrease issues. RGB on board works with Corsair's iCue software which is a plus! BestBuy! You need to change the product features of this board. It is a DDR5 board not DDR4 and it only works with Intel's 12th Gen LGA 1700. Update this!

Pretty board, huge amount of IO and m.2 slots for days, the included expansion card was a sweet surprise as well! Love the board!

Not going to find a more affordable Z790 motherboard that performs and looks this good around the same price point!
