The manufacture has not approved any DDR5 128GB memory that will work for this motherboard. Therefore you cannot load 128 GB on this motherboard. The maximum memory for this mother board is 64GB at this time.

Defective board- will be returning

I could have lived with that but then in the second week one of the ram slots went dead. The other three slots worked for test purposes. I was running 2 sticks of Corsair that were on the Asus compatible list. Will try one more of the same and if there is a problem I will go for another model.

Sold me a fried motherboard

No post beep, i used massive antistatic mat. Handled with nothing but care. Tested every thing possible in the book, went on hundreds of forums to make sure it wasnt my fault. Nope, theres no post beep, the numbers show a 00 error consistantly, but my psu is still supplying the proper power because the fan and gpu runs. Was sold a bad board.

The installation was very easy and the software even easier! The bios was user friendly and overall easy to navigate. Best of all, I got this product at a discount so it was well worth the purchase. I would suggest, however, to take pictures/videos when you unbox your item for RMA purposes if your Best Buy past due.

We do understand the inconvenience this may have caused if the motherboard is not booting up successfully.
No boot or no POST can either be any of the hardware(CPU, RAM, PSU), installed on the motherboard, including the motherboard itself. To resolve the issue, please verify all hardware meets the requirements of the motherboard, are working properly and installed correctly on the motherboard. We recommend testing the motherboard outside the case in order to determine if all hardware are correctly installed. Also, we recommend clearing the CMOS every component change or installation.

First of all, update the bios using the flashback utility. And just because your ram isnt on the qvl list doesnt mean it wont work. 5600 cl36 works just fine on all z690 boards including this one. Please do some research before misleading people with reviews.

Anything not in the first two (right to left) slots will not boot. Too late to send back this thing sucks. And i am sitting on 32 BG of corsair DDR5 ram gathering dust.

In order to resolve the issue, please verify if the RAM modules are all known good parts and seated properly into the slot. Also, verify if the motherboard is running with the most current BIOS version.
