Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hadn't purchased Asus motherboards in years, but I needed a motherboard and my need was time sensitive so I needed to purchase locally. Asus was the only premium board available at the time, so... Installation was fine, and initially everything booted as should. Then my PC froze up. It did this randomly and somewhat infrequently under normal usage, but it did lock up every time I ran a game. Not a huge deal, as I have another PC that's used strictly for gaming. This was primarily my work and rendering PC, so I figure I could live with until the issue was found or a new BIOS fixed it. Well, a half dozen BIOS' later, it was having the same issue, but more frequently. About this time, all the info was starting to come out regarding Intel's 13900K and 14900K having issues, and ASUS (along with other brands) far exceeding safe parameters in their BIOS. At this time instead of freezing several times a week during non-gaming situations, it was doing this several times a day. Figuring it was excessive CPU degradation, I replaced the 13900K with a 14900K. Now it's back to freezing a couple of times per week rather than per day with a brand new 14900K. Not only that, but after hibernating or being shut down, it would no longer boot -- giving a Code 16 error. A hard reboot (shutting down the power supply) resulted in a normal boot. Now I am dealing with the headache that is ASUS Technical support for the second time in the past year. I won't even burden you with the horror that was the first time.... Do yourself a favor; but almost any other brand of motherboard.

First motherboard that is not working properly out of the box. Fails to boot when both ddr5 sticks are installed. Memory is on the approved list by asus. Going to exchange my board and restart. Im shocked how some motherboards are more expensive then cpus now.. crazy markup
