    Yhe computer works great! I have had some issues where the keyboard doesnt work so i have to restart my laptop. It has only happend a few time, i have check for driver and firmware updates but i havent find any. Other than that it performs very good, it have been playing Cyberpunk 2077, fortnite and Destiny and they all perform smoothly.

    As a portable laptop you’d want your gaming machine to actually last off a wall outlet. I get around 9hrs on battery which gets me through my classes and some. That alone is what makes this machine a beast.

    Amazing laptop, the only bad thing is that you need to configure everything and be concerned about actualizing all the BIOS systems. In the beginning, I had a lot of problems with the keyboard.

    Excellent Laptop, no problem running XPlane 11, 12 and MFS. Had a 32gb ram added in to get a total of 48gb ram.

    One month old laptop. Battery lasted only an hour, rubber gasket around screen came loose for no reason as well. Tried to contact Asus for warranty and was told i had to go through geeksquad. Wasted time making a geeksquad appointment and they said it needed to he sent back to Asus. 1 month later. Had to conatact again since no word on repair. Several days later told we were getting a new lapop. Only it wasn't new it was a refurbished unit. Fast goeward a few weeks, son tells me windows 12 isnt activated and wonderful activate. His keyboard doesnt work properly, and the 4080 keeps shutting off in device manager. Add to that his battery life is better, but only 3 hours. I have contacted Microsoft 1st, no luck on activation. Then i contacted Asus support 3 times. Each time they promised someone would email us with 24-48 hours. No one has. He has an inoperable laptop. Pure garbage. Should have bought the razer blade like I did for my other college student.Purr

      We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if it didn't meet your expectations.


      On the contrary, lots of satisfied customers having positive experience using the product will agree with that it is a decent laptop. It runs popular computing applications, without compromising system stability and performance as long as Windows is up to date. It is normal for the battery to discharge while gaming or running application that requires lots of system resources. In order to improve or prolong the battery charged time, please try to do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully-charged, please use the laptop, without the AC adapter connected, and drain let the battery drain completely again. Please repeat the charging process thereafter. Also, please verify if the unit is running with the most current system update and third-party battery draining applications are not running if not in used. Normally, if a brand-new product was ordered and paid, WINDOWS activation process is automatic, after the initial WINDOWS setup completed and the laptop is connected to the internet, since the SLC(Software License Code) is embedded in the BIOS. Entering a product key manually is not required, authentication or activation process is automatic, as mentioned. Please try to do a hardware reset or factory restore in order to resolve the Windows activation error. Please backup your data before doing a factory restore.

    Good laptop, but bad trackpad

    Overall good performance and is a great laptop. However, I had some trackpad rattle and it would make a clicking noise despite tapping it lightly without clicking. The trackpad also makes this "sticky" noise as if there is a thin plastic popping. Maybe I was unlucky with the QC but this is my second one after I exchanged my first one for the same issue.

    Didn't really get to try it out since wifi wasn't working and it wouldn't let fully set it up. Called customer service, said to take it in to a local best buy to get it checked out. Geek squad guy said I'd get charged to get it checked out plus what ever it cost to repair it? There's a disconnect between best buy customer service, online store, local store, and Geek squad. Disappointed.

    Keeps shutting down randomly...

    This is the second unit I get of this laptop with the same issue. I really wanted to love this, but the laptop keeps shutting down randomly. Sometimes it happens while gaming but most times I am just working and also happens. I will return it for a second time but both times I upgraded to Windows Pro (I need it for work), so I am already down 200$ plus hours of setting up 2 laptops for nothing.
