This laptop is powerful and portable. Very good screen and comes in a great laptop bag

Truly a wonderfully working device with very few caveats. However, the build quality, finish, and overall refinement of this chasis leaves something to be desired. The 2024 Model with its CNC Aluminum Chasis should fix most of these complaints though. Wonderful device overall that functionally is near flawless. Do not buy the 4070 Model.

It plays games with ease and they look good it can get a little hot but you wont notice it to much

Great machine, really happy with the performance and ability to use DLSS. Nothing won’t run well on this thing. I was a little skeptical of the 1600p resolution being optimal but I’m not anymore. It powers theough it, especially if using DLSS or FSR. I’m not having trouble with native resolution either, but AI upscaling does provide a healthy frames per second boost.

purchased for my daughter for her senior year of hs. She loves it! Does all he school work, photo/video edits, some gaming. The screen is crisp too!

Wonderful laptop, light and fast and quiet, great foe the games

The laptop works very well for the few weeks I've had it, and the specs are quite good for the price, since I was able to get it on sale for $500 off. For gaming specifically, 512 GB of storage is a bit low depending on the size of the games one would play, but otherwise is still a great computer. Pretty much any game will run on this laptop.

After upgrading to 1TB SN850X and adding a CORSAIR Vengeance SODIMM 16GB, this machine has all the power I need for some gaming and productivity. I recommend a fresh install of Windows and then installing G-Helper for best performance without preinstalled bloatware. I have a Macbook Air M2 but solely use this machine now with the added choices for gaming of course...

I actually like this laptop didnt think it would be realky good until i actually bought it and used it. The game can run a lot of good games and it helps me with my school work at the same time. Love the spec and love the smoothness of this computer. Very budgeting for a laptop for 2024 and can still keep up for the next 3-5 years.

Can handle any game thrown at it. Good battery life for office tasksa, up to 6 hours.

This laptop is great. It looks very nice in person, and the best gaming keyboard on a laptop out right now. It's very great value for the money and just looks and feels premium despite being priced pretty evenly with its competitiors. This laptop also isn't over the top with the gamer aesthitic which i very much appreciate. If you want the hardware of a gaming laptop without the looks this is as close as one is gonna get.

The laptop is good for playing games, but I would definitely not purchase again with the price. The laptop occasionally will not turn on, and the keyboard will stop working and the only way to get it to work again is to restart it over and over again. It is very frustrating and definitely don't think its worth the money.

computer is better than my desktop that I can play any game on other than the memory but the keyboard has issues. The space bar only works on the left side and sometimes the keyboard doesn't accept any input but fixes after a restart.

I bought this laptop on sale for $999. That is an absolute steal for this computer. It crunches through everything I throw at it without hesitation. I can play everything I've tried at ultra settings and get a consistent 60-120 fps. I love that it is on the smaller side (didn't really want a 16" or 17". The screen looks amazing. I didn't think I was going to like the white color very much from the pictures, but in person it looks really nice. I did upgrade the storage and RAM before I booted it up. I added a 16GB DDR5 4800 stick for a total of 32GB and a 2TB SSD to replace the 512GB. I found these upgrades to be necessary (especially the storage) rather than just nice-to-haves. And for that reason, I wouldn't pay the $1,599 MSRP. But if you can get it for $999 (plus the cost of upgrades - which cost me about $180 total), it is a bargain and a half.

Great computer. I like the 14 inch size and the fact that the screen will rotate to 180 degrees.The battery life is pretty good around 5 -6 hours from 80% to 30%. However, I use it for engineering classes not gaming. I am sure gaming would drain the battery quicker. I would definitely buy it again.

A pretty good laptop for the price. The only problem is that it tends to overheat pretty quick so I advise to get a cooler for it.

Very happy with this laptop. The upgrades over the previous generation (larger touchpad, slightly larger screen) are welcome. Enough power to play the games I've throw at it already (FFXIV, Baldur's Gate 3). Hard drive is on the small side, but upgradeable. Same for the RAM.

After about a year of considering this I finally jumped on a $600 discount for this 4060 ROG and so far I am impressed. Was a bit concerned about upgradeability, but turned out to be really easy -- a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro replaced the original 512 NVME drive, and a 32 GB Vengeance Corsair brought me up to 48 GB RAM, though I am unsure how much of the addition is dual channel -- all of this has really speeded things up. Going from an ancient 2008 Dell to this has changed my world. ASUS includes the My ASUS app and Armor Crate for doing all sorts of tweaking and so far I am loving this. The laptop is driving my Dell display with no problem, and a 1.5 TB microSD provides some extra storage. I really like the looks of the 2023 Zephyrus overthe 2024 redesign so have no regrets there. As for battery life, it is what it is -- I do see a 6 hour figure when using ECO modes but that does reduce depending on what I am doing. All in all, hard to beat the $600 deep discount for the 4060. A 4070 would be nice but this meets my needs entirely as I am not a gamer.
