You can play games in 4K on this laptop with a battery life of approximately 6 to 7 hours. The display is impressive, and the speakers are excellent.

I bought this laptop and used it for a week or two. The specs are practically unbeatable for the price. Runs very quiet and cool. However there are two cons. 1. The wifi card used on this is absolutely awful. Download speeds were atrocious. 2. There’s only one SSD slot. It would have been good to have two. Overall it’s a good laptop, but wasn’t for me so I ultimately returned it.

I have been enjoying this laptop since I got it, upgraded the ram to 32 gigs, and now I can pretty much play any game at native resolution with max settings.

The G14 offers a great balance between productivity and performance. You can easily switch between multiple modes depending on the kind of work you are doing, whether it is just taking notes in class or destroying your competition in online games. The battery life is pretty good when you not using the dedicated GPU, really light and easy to carry around, amazing screen and keyboard with a solid build. Plus, when you need performance you can switch up and get the max out of the 40 series cards. Totally recommend if you get a great offer on it.

great computer! Only concern is the cooling system. It get very noise. But this is very portable laptop

Not sure why ASUS went with 2 colors for this laptop, but it looks good. Asus also uses the same ErgoLift hinge that was in ZenBook’s where the bottom of the laptop lifts at a slight angle when opened fully. This is a great design to open the laptop at 180 degrees in one hand and very useful for typing both ergonomically and for air flow/heat expulsion. Windows 11 Pro was preinstalled and upon initial boot and with few questions like country and keyboard selection it asked to login to my Microsoft account and once done, it started downloading firmware and updating windows. Performance: This is a great laptop with mind-blowing performance on a small form factor for gamers. AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor is powerful and efficient, providing snappy performance in both gaming and everyday tasks. With 8 cores and 16 threads, this has up to 32GB 4800 HZ DDR5 memory and up to 125W GPU power with Dynamic Boost. During my daily usage for the past week, there were no issues working with multiple tabs on the chrome browser and on the Microsoft IE browser. It automatically switches to modes when it’s not connected to power source and working on battery for efficient battery life. Performs the best in multicore test compared to single core test but its performance on a portable 14 inch is never seen before on any gaming laptops. Also, this laptop comes with 1TB of SSD storage that is plenty for content creators or for gamers. Armory Crate software is easy to load with the dedicated hotkey on the top of the keyboard and it’s very convenient to change the performance mode of the windows from silent, performance, turbo, and manual. Software provides a great dashboard of the system performance from CPU Stats, GPU Stats, Fan Speed, Memory and Storage details at a quick glance and tweak if required. Charger/Ports: On the left side of the laptop, you have the power port, HDMI 2.1 port, USB 4 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and power delivery, and 3.5mm audio jack. On the right side you have 2 - USB 3.2 Gen Type-A ports, USB Gen2 3.2 Type C Port with DisplayPort 1.4 and MicroSD Card reader (UHSII). You can also use USB C to charge the laptop battery using a 65W power adapter (not included) for greater flexibility and to charge any compatible smartphones or portable devices. I used my MacBook USB C power adaptor and charges well and will come handy during travel where you don’t need to carry the power brick 240w charger. If you need fast charging, then recommend using the 240 W charger that comes with the laptop to save time. Battery: Fast charge up to 50% battery in 30 minutes. Comes with 76WHrs, 4S1p, 4-cell Li-ion battery and 240W AC adapter with 100- 240C AC 50/60Hz Universal power supply. It’s advertised that battery will last up to 10 hours video playback and upon testing, it was close to 9 hours of video playback under minimal brightness. Very impressive and didn’t expect a great battery life. However, heavy gaming and intensive tasks will drain the battery faster. Keyboard and Touchpad: G14 has a great full functionality desktop inspired keyboard with some dedicated hotkeys with macro function for volume buttons, microphone mute and ROG Armoury Crate software button. IT has got white light and one zone RGB with ASUS Aura Sync and Fast actuating key switches. Speaker & Mic: Compared to other laptops I own; this one has the best audio due to the smart amp woofers with virtual 5.1.2-channel surround sound powered by Dolby Atmos technology. It has 4 speaker system with built in 3-microphone array and AI noise-canceling technology. Due to Dolby Atmos technology, sound quality is greatly optimized and sounds great when watching movies on Netflix or prime videos or playing games. Three modes (cardioid, stereo, omnidirectional) for the integrated mic array and two-way AI noise cancellation filters both input and output audio, making video calls, streams and recording clearer. With it's powerful Ryzen 9 CPU, RTX 4060, 14" QHD screen that runs at 165hz- this laptop has everything I needed for mobile media editing! Battery life has been stellar while on the go with about 7hrs or Adobe suite editing and close to 10hrs on lighter loads. Best of all, it is all packed in a very portable stunning design which is incredible. Highly recommend this laptop to anyone who needs desktop content creating performance on the go!

this is my favorite laptop I've ever owned. small premium little monster that actually has the cooling needed to not only keep the machine running but you can touch they keyboard and not burn those digits!!! wowiee what an idea make a small and light but add enough heft to the cooling so. said cooling actually works. very very nice machine the only thing i wish it had FHD screen, all games would run better at the res and at 14 inches anything highter than that particular res is silly... theres no point, like a bumper sticker on a your windshield.

Bought it for my sister. Its well built and tough. Its a gaming laptol, but also an amazing everyday use.
