Immediately nedded 1 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM and a WiFi 7 card. Almost wanted to return back but realized the 2024 model has lower watts and double the price, Best for you to wait for the 2025 model if you have the patience.

Games such as call of duty , forza horizon 4 played for me at about 90 frames per second at high settings. I was just coming from another msi laptop with a 3060 graphics card so I didn’t see much of an improvement in frames per second . But overall a good value for the price I paid at 1399 plus tax

I’ve ran into Linux specific nvidia driver issues (was able to resolve by upgrading kernel) as well as audio issues with the amplification of sound (still unresolved). Would like to see better Linux support

It can play games but if its a AAA game expect the fan to turn on to turbo. Lots and lots of Asus bloatware. Pros. Slim beautiful laptop, comfortable to use anywhere

First, the trackpad is loose and experiences a "fake" double clicking phenomenon. Second, the speakers were loose in my unit, leading them to vibrate from within the chassis. I went back to the store for further inspection and the Display unit also had these issues. Unfortunately I had to return mine. Other than that, it is a great compact, high performing laptop. BUT It does get hot and the hinge design may dig into your legs when using it on your lap.

The chipset has not changed from last year, so I feel like a got a heck of a deal - it runs everything in my Steam library no problem. And Best Buy had the best price and delivery.
