    I was sent a completely incorrect product. Even the brand was different (Ordered ASUS and was delivered MSI). Not sure how such mistakes happen. Upon contacting customer for replacement, they initiated a request to send the correct product so the incorrect product could be returned, however the correct product never got delivered even after the specified time, so I had to return the incorrect product that too after discussing with the rep at store because I did not want to end up keeping it with me. However once the incorrect product was returned, the replacement was cancelled stating that replacement can no longer be possible since the incorrect product was returned. All this caused a lot of problems for the student whose classes had already started and had to use the laptop while all these issues were going on. This was a very bad experience which I had never experienced with Best Buy before.

    Do not buy this laptop. Overheating sucks. I purchased this laptop in November, but at that time, I didn't use any heavy software like Matlab Solidworks. But when I installed MATLAB, originPro it started overheating like it is burning in side additionally the battery is drained along with the heat.

    Tried two and had to return both for different reasons. The first one had bad light bleed and the second overheated and shut off a lot and the keyboard was messed up too. The best buy rep said they get this model returned constantly. Plus asus has horrible customer service and I was ignored by them on Twitter too. Such a shame as I used to be a huge fan of asus. Time for a lenovo legion I guess.

    Absolutely Ruins Tables and Desks with scratches.

    The rear feet are very short and when you open the lid, it has sharp metal strips that become the rear feet. They are hard and thin and unfortunately scratch desktops and table tops.

    I bought this laptop open-box excellent condition. Everything works fine except the battery health seems not good. It only works for around 3-4 hours doing simply office works.

    In 1-year time, the laptop stopped working 3 times

    Probably my worst purchase in terms of electronics. Since the day I bought it, the computer has had issues, and what frustrated me even more was that, unfortunately, only Best Buy can offer support because Asus claims this is an exclusive Best Buy model. To make matters worse, I live in South America. Through friends, I managed to send the laptop for support, which was always a hassle to ship it back and forth to Brazil. Every time it came back, it still had problems, and now it doesn't even recognize the hard drive. I provided all the possible clues to the support team, such as event viewer logs, etc., and it still came back with issues. If you value a reliable warranty, do not buy this laptop.

    I haven’t even had this laptop for a month and I’ve been experiencing many problems. It blue screens quite a bit which is annoying in the middle of playing games. On top of that, the keyboard randomly stops working every few days and I have to troubleshoot it.

    Unfortunately, the laptop already has 3 dead pixels. I have also had quite a bit of trouble getting things to work, often having to restart the computer to get things like sound or apps to work.

    Two lemons on this nice of a product is disappoint

    Very impressed with the looks and specs on paper. Our first kept overheating within the first week of use and had complete crashes. Exchanged it for another one of the same kind. The second didn't overheat as much but still had crashes. Returned the second one too. Wouldn't recommend. A little thing that was annoying is anytime you unplug from the charger you'll lose screen visuals as it switched to battery. A computer this nice should be able to seamless switch imo.

    Avoid this laptop

    NOT Best Buy’s fault! The motherboard for my laptop broke 2 months after my warranty expired. I took it to Best Buy for repairs, but their service center mailed my laptop back saying that they’ve had such consistent issues with the motherboard for this laptop they will no longer repair them. Best Buy refunded me the $85 shipping and labor fee. ASUS charges a non refundable $85 diagnostics fee on top of repairs which could be $300-$500. I don’t want to pay $585 to repair a laptop that has such issues that Best Buy will no longer even attempt to fix it.

    It always fails to boot up properly when turned on, the screen doesn't light up only the keyboard light and it continues to get hot. The only way to fix it is that you need to keep holding down the power button for a long time to force a reboot. And it's a common problem with this laptop, there are a lot of identical cases online. Not really recommended.

    i bought this laptop in exellent condition and it has screen freezing issue specially when you are installing something on windows. i have updated the bios and the windows and i watched a lot of videos on youtube but the issue don't wanna be fixed so i returned to bestbuy.

    Was OK until today. Loud cricket noise (think coil whine, but 10 times louder) coming from middle vents top of keyboard when on battery. Would also completely shut down when an external monitor was disconnected while sleeping. Obviously a defective unit. Took a chance on an open box-excellent. Returning to BB.
