Great computer/but internal components issue

Awful Quality Control

The first unit had a caved in power button and a clicking noise when swiping the touchpad. The second unit has an awful mouse jitter when using the touchpad. Asus sells with at such a premium price point. It’s ridiculous they have seemingly zero quality control.

Buyer beware. Looks nice but issues issues

Worked ok at first but now will turn off randomly and reboot. Some days its only once, other time's multiple times a day. Tried tracing the problem but error is only windows shut down unexpectedly. Temps are high but didnt seem put of sorts with other temps. Reallt regret buying this laptop as i cant rely if itnwill rin good or randomly rebbotnruing my gaming or whatever im working. Also asus customer srvice is difficult to get ahold of or even try to get support. Its a shame because its a pretty laptop and i really wanted to like it.

No QC from factory

Firs turning on experience was good. I powered the laptop by included DC adaptor. The trouble came when I use PD charger that I normally use for other laptop. I pluged in on the left side USB-C port. the laptop shut down immediately. My Charger has flickering light. I restarted and try to charge it with my Monitor with USB-C. It was my very bad mistake. the laptop damage my monitor. USB-C port on my monitor is no longer work. I double check with my 2 other Laptop. I return the laptop and get replacement from BestBuy but I left with a damage monitor. This is the worst experience that I ever bought. I have many of defective devices. All of them are cover by the return policy. I wonder how can this type of defect device come out from factory.

Do not buy

I purchased this laptop and the motherboard shorted out after about 8 months. When I sent it in for repair I was told that the motherboard is on backorder so I have to wait for 30 days or longer before Best buy will ask ASUS to replace the unit if the motherboard does not become available. This is only a request and not a requirement. So I am stuck with out a laptop and no guarantee on a timeline for replacement or getting it fixed.

Not for gaming

Yes, it’s plugged in. The software does whatever it wants to do. I set it to 60 fps, but it keeps resetting itself to 165 fps. Taking this laptop back to the store right after I wipe it.

Terrible Customer Service

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this laptop it took a couple days to get here and it said delivered but never arrived called in and got a replacement for same day pick up and to wait for the email to go and pickup never got it that day contacted support the next day and was assured I would be able to pick it up that day same thing happened and never got the email third day came around and still no email as-well as being “promised” i could pick it up the third day by support that day. finally the fourth day came around and it said out of stock by then I was completely annoyed by the service I received and the lies they kept feeding me so I just decided to cancel the order.

Not a quality Product

Great laptop, but faulty unit

It worked well for three weeks, then I didn't use it for a month and now it won't POST. When I press the power button, the white power on indicator turns on, but it suddenly loses power and all the lights turn off (Power indicator and battery charge indicator). I tried power cycling but it didn't work. I fear the unit has a major malfunction. I would still recommend it, but it all depends how well my case goes with customer support.

Would have been a great laptop...

Do not buy this. It looks good, and that's it
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It gets hot enough to bake cookies every day. It shuts itself completely off, and blue screened many months prior to this review and it was only bought in August 2023. This is a horrible gaming PC and I would not recommend. It gets so incredibly hot so it will not last long. These issues happened rather quickly, but JUST outside of the return window so I can't get my money back.
