    Great size and looks great but terrible for performance. Frames seem like they lag. Comes with single channel memory, there is a free slot to upgrade. Eventually after less than a week of use laptop would not boot to BIOS.

    Good PC, but not for gaming. I am getting 15 fps on Warcraft. Yes, it’s plugged in. The software does whatever it wants to do. I set it to 60 fps, but it keeps resetting itself to 165 fps. Taking this laptop back to the store right after I wipe it.

    Bought last epoch didnt even make it past charecter select before the laptop was so hot i could barely touch it. I promptly restored factory settings and returned it.

    Highly recommend nobody purchases this laptop or anything from ASUS. I purchased this laptop and the motherboard shorted out after about 8 months. When I sent it in for repair I was told that the motherboard is on backorder so I have to wait for 30 days or longer before Best buy will ask ASUS to replace the unit if the motherboard does not become available. This is only a request and not a requirement. So I am stuck with out a laptop and no guarantee on a timeline for replacement or getting it fixed.

    Terrible Customer Service

    I ordered this laptop it took a couple days to get here and it said delivered but never arrived called in and got a replacement for same day pick up and to wait for the email to go and pickup never got it that day contacted support the next day and was assured I would be able to pick it up that day same thing happened and never got the email third day came around and still no email as-well as being “promised” i could pick it up the third day by support that day. finally the fourth day came around and it said out of stock by then I was completely annoyed by the service I received and the lies they kept feeding me so I just decided to cancel the order.

    Not a quality Product

    I’ve had this product for only 4 months, my battery last about an hour, and as soon as it comes off the charger it is losing battery at a significant rate. their is several bugs where the screen randomly turns black or even shuts off randomly, a bug with turning on the screen after the laptop is in sleep mode… very disappointing product in my experience, and not worth all of the money I spent

    If only it actually worked. I received a lemon (it blue-screened every hour) and Asus support was useless in trying to fix it. Never buying from Asus again.

    Great laptop, but faulty unit

    The laptop was great. It worked well for three weeks, then I didn't use it for a month and now it won't POST. When I press the power button, the white power on indicator turns on, but it suddenly loses power and all the lights turn off (Power indicator and battery charge indicator). I tried power cycling but it didn't work. I fear the unit has a major malfunction. I would still recommend it, but it all depends how well my case goes with customer support.

    Cool laptop but defective from the start :( beware

    Great laptop however, it seems to have some issues every now and then with the screen. I have taken immaculate care of this device yet it has this screen issue. It happened from day one. I assume I have to do a warranty claim. I've never bought a new laptop and had it break down so soon like this. Huge bummer. This brand is awesome and the model g14 is a great device, but there must be a lack of quality control and safe handling of electronics at Best Buy for a product to be defective so soon.

    It gets hot enough to bake cookies every day. It shuts itself completely off, and blue screened many months prior to this review and it was only bought in August 2023. This is a horrible gaming PC and I would not recommend. It gets so incredibly hot so it will not last long. These issues happened rather quickly, but JUST outside of the return window so I can't get my money back.

    Windows 11 was an unusable buggy experience, Asus software was a buggy mess too, visual artifacts/glitching/flickering, didn't support multiple resolutions, randomly restarted ~20 times in 2 days. This seemed to be a quality control issue. Neither Asus nor Bestbuy was helpful during this troubleshooting process. Not worth the lost time/sleep.

    Freezes and Fails to Connect to External Monitor

    Quite possibly the worst laptop I've ever owned. At least 3 times a day the laptop screen fails to power on while not sending power to the external monitor requiring a hard reset of the computer to get the screen on. Additionally, at least twice a day the laptop will completely lock up and freeze and require an additional hard reset to work again. Do not buy.

    Do not put yourself through the pain and annoyance from buying this laptop. I’ve had nothing but issues with this laptop. One of the worst laptops I have ever owned. If i can save one person from purchasing this trash laptop then this post was worth it

    In the name of selling laptops you are selling webroot security software which I never requested and also never installed once on my machine. After 6 months you charged me with auto re-newal. How on earth can you charge me for a product I never installed and did not sign up? Best buy - this is daylight robbery ...I'll tell this to every one and post 1000s of social media post about this stupidity

      Resellers, like BestBuy, will usually preinstall free subscription internet security software or applications in order to keep your system safe from malware or viruses while surfing the web. Once the free subscription expired, you need to pay for the service periodically. If you have your own internet security software, you can always uninstall the Webroot application.     Well designed machine but I WON'T RECOMMEND

    When I first got this laptop, fell in love with it. after 2 days, it became a disappointment. -Chrome flicker issue -after using HDMI then later on trying to turn on the computer Black screen of death. Only solution for this is drain out your battery and never turn off the laptop again. -Asked for replacement - Best buy wanted to service it instead of the replacement. I'm very certain that I'm going to return this and get something else.

    Customer service at Gettysburg MD

    Its all about customer service not the product! It's my second time buying a laptop at Gettysburg Md & disappointed my last experience was quite perfect & now the sales person that I contact was not professional at all she came & ask me if I need help then I try to explain what I'm looking for and asked for some details about it and now I took the wrong products because of misinformation.

    Died out of nowhere just 3 months out of 1 year warranty. Beware do not recommend. Other people having same issues when you search forums with the g14.
