    Great laptop in theory but in practice it's a poor product. Definitely some quality control issues, mainly regarding the display. The functionality out of the box is poor- I'm on my second unit and both have had display issues. Concerning how Best Buy continues to sell defective products.

    Missing charger

    As per best buys own rules, anything rated excellent on their used stuff has to include all parts and accessories. Imagine my surprise when i opened the box and found the charger was missing. As this is a gaming laptop, the charger is not cheap. In fact Asus sells it for 179.99. As soon as i get back in town im returning this otherwise great laptop.

    Waste of money, useless laptop

    I would return this in a heart beat if I could. It doesn’t hold a charge. Even if you power it off it seems to wake up and drain the battery. When you run a game it doesn’t get enough fps so it’s useless.

    Blue screen and Restarts Itself

    I bought this gaming laptop to play low end games. It cannot handle it, the laptop is constantly restarting randomly after trying to run games for a little while or will blue screen and shut off. 1,600 laptop and it’s a broken mess.

    Screen not turning on.

    I have had this computer for a month and was only able to use it twice before the computer started giving me issues. The screen won’t turn on and I had to connect it to my tv.. that and the computer does so fast.

    Buyer Beware

    Screen broke just by opening and closing it in normal use. There's no damage to my laptops exterior, and I go in to ask for an exchange before the 11 day period and manager says no. I now have a broken PC.

    Got this on sale but not even within a week the laptop over heated and died. It had beautiful graphics and over all stunning but the hardware didn’t last. Would have gave it a 5star review if it didn’t died right away.

    Unboxing the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop was as simple as cutting the shipping box open, pulling out the laptop box and slicing through the security tape to lift the lid. The packaging as always was top-notch, as you open the box, the laptop is lifted up and out of the box, almost like magic. It’s just a little thing but touches like that really make a product feel special, right out of the box. I've been using this high performance laptop for a few weeks now as my primary Windows machine and it's almost perfect for anything I need to do on a PC, including running Steam games, watching movies on my external monitor, and editing media to share online. The laptop itself is a healthy balance of brain and brawn. With a moonlight white exterior and unimatrix dot design with a holographic effect in the right light. The design has a modern and sleek look and feel. Complete with thin bezels around the 14-inch display. The weight of this laptop is just right to give you a good balance of durability and portability. It doesn't feel like an economy laptop despite its lightweight build. Setting it up was a breeze, with Windows 11 and ASUS' Armoury Crate software, which offers various performance settings, giving you the option to customize the power usage depending on your usage. This gaming laptop has an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card. These specs mean that you are going to experience amazing performance whether you're editing videos for social media, watching a movie in 4k or playing a game. Even multiple activities on multiple monitors at the same time! The laptop can handle any task or activity that I throw at it! The fan pops on when gaming or performing resource intensive tasks, but given these high-performance specs, that’s to be expected The display is another great thing about this monitor, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut, offering stunningly crisp and vibrant visuals that really pop on the screen. I appreciate that there is a webcam in the top bezel of the lid so that I can use this laptop for web meetings and calls with business associates. The touchpad on this laptop is huge and oh so smooth! Probably one of the best touchpads I’ve ever used on a laptop. The keyboard works really great, feels great when typing and it features customizable RGB backlighting, adding just a little more of the product magic that I mentioned earlier in the review. This gaming laptop has just the right amount of extra features to make you say, wow! Even though the list of pros for this laptop is many, and far greater than I’ve mentioned, I do need to mention just a couple drawbacks. This laptop only has 512GB SSD, which is, IMO, a little below par for a high performance laptop of this caliber. It also tends to get hot under heavy use, which is felt through the keyboard. The battery life is sufficient for my needs, I keep it plugged in and docked mostly. But it may not last long enough to take on a trip and watch more than 1, maybe 2 movies, or perhaps a few hours of offline gaming I need to mention that I was sent a replacement laptop to review. The first laptop I received had an issue where the laptop wouldn’t wake up and the screen wouldn’t come on, while the keyboard and base of the laptop became extremely hot to the touch. While working with ASUS support we were unable to determine the cause of the overheating issue so they shipped me a replacement laptop, just to be safe. I appreciate the great customer service and fast support offered by ASUS. The replacement arrived quickly after it was shipped and the new laptop has not experienced the issue I had with the original unit. Overall, I highly recommend the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop to anyone looking for a top tier laptop at a less than top tier price. It checks mostly all the right boxes; performance, features, spec, build quality, display quality and price, making it a great choice for anyone in need of a powerful, portable laptop.

    Bought once, started malfunctioning and shutting down. Ended up getting another one about a month ago, now this one won’t charge

    Product was two weeks late with no updates. Had to call customer service where I could I get order refunded.
