I purchased this laptop to replace my 3 year old Asus ROG laptop, because I wanted to play some newer games. I'm no tech expert by any stretch, I just know what I like and what works for me. That said, the display on this laptop is gorgeous. Very sharp, with excellent blacks. The lights and shadows are excellent. The 5080 graphics are running perfectly. The sound is good, although I mostly use headphones. I also like the keyboard, it's responsive, although someone with very large hands might find it on the small side. Be aware that, when the 5080 graphics are running, the fans are loud. The case does stay much cooler than my previous machine though. I've been using this laptop for a few weeks, and so far, I am very satisfied and would recommend it.

Everything is working as advertised. I have been using this unit hardcore over the past month. It handles all work tasks easily and does a nice job running various games. It does heat up during intensive use, and I have been elevating the rear end a bit to provide for more airflow. I see that the temperature is still within the normal range. Also, love the screen display. I didn't think I would notice much of a difference from my last laptop, I was wrong.

Amazing machine! A lot of people say it runs hot but it is a gaming laptop. If you use g-helper, you can use it on your lap for homework or whatever without it heating up much at all. It’ll handle any game you throw at it.

Awesome form factor , good battery life, does get hot but it's because it's 14 in otherwise great

This laptop is top of the line. I can run everything smoothly, and all the AAA games runs on very high settings. The oled screen is beautiful, once I used it I can't go back to none oled panels. For me the 14" is just perfect size and weight. I just don't like some of the windows updates, not the laptops fault. One of the best 14 inch gaming pc on the market right now specially with the RTX 5058.

This one is a beast, you can play anything you want at top high resolution using nvidia gpu and when you want to some serious work you have the options from where to choose: use nvidia gpu or amd AI cpu with integrated APU Over all you you have the power of an gaming/AI laptop in the size of a tablet.

Small Lightweight POWERFUL the AMD 5080 combo is best for my intended use. This guy is small enough to throw in a small backpack and powerful enough to use instead of my I9 and 4080 desktop.

I wish I could give this machine 5 stars, but I'm not and it's because of ASUS's Customer Service. The customer service and after support plays just as much of a role in a great machine as the machine itself. So, what is my issue? It seems if you buy an Asus laptop you can't get an extended warranty from Asus and you also can't get the free 1 year of accidental protection Asus offers on new Laptops. Is this information noted anywhere on the website? Nope.... To annoy you even more, even after registering the laptop you receive an email saying: Please visit asus.com/us/support for more information or to learn more about alternate support options, and please enjoy all of the benefits of being an ASUS Member! (including a 10% off code for an extended warranty). I reached out to Asus Executive Office regarding this and their response was, "“ASUS Premium Care and Accidental Damage Protection are not compatible with handheld consoles (NV-series), refurbished, open box, international, or products purchased from Best Buy.” You are telling me I just bought a $3000 laptop, and you won't provide an extended warranty on it? Ridiculous. With the above out the way let's talk about the laptop itself. The machine is a beast it runs every game I've tossed and it without a hitch. The display is amazing looking, and wow let's talk about the speakers. They blow away any laptop speakers I've ever used including some larger models. The battery life on the laptop is great for web browsing. I'm seeing between 6-8 hours on lite web browsing compared to my older laptop with an intel 185h that barely gave me 3. So, you definitely can enjoy this machine on the couch when not gaming. I do have a few downsides of the laptop though: 1. It gets hot even on quiet mode just while browsing the internet (not bad that it will burn you but it's hot). 2. It's LOUD when gaming, definitely need some earphones. 3. I wish the backlit keys could be better, I'm coming from a laptop where each key was fully backlit and looks a lot nicer. I'm not sure if I will keep it yet based off the warranty issue, I still have some time to decide, but this is a warning if you are looking at this machine. Competitor models sell 3-year accidental warranties for less than Best Buy will charge you for 1.

This is an excellent laptop for media consumption and doing work. I primarily use it for research and medical work, not really to play games. It handles everything I need to do without a problem. Only real issue is the keyboard does get very warm.

While this laptop cannot hit the same power levels as other laptops with the same GPU it makes up for in sheer quality and compactness. No other Windows laptop on the market has better sound and the display is stunning

It has a really nice design and build quality is excellent. Gaming on the 14 inch display is a little small, but is plenty for productivity and daily tasks. Used it with a 4k gamintor as well, the new 50 series graphics card worked very well. If you can swing the premium price tag, I don't think you'll regret it.

Do you want best keyboard, touchpad and speakers on a laptop? -- Check! Do you want beautiful gorgeous screen ? -- Check! What can I say more I do not know. I suggest 5080 spec. if you can afford, beautiful laptop I have ever use.

Delivered on time. Great laptop, used but looks like new, light, compact and potent. 360 sound system and amazing graphics. The only thing is that when I'm playing some heavy games, the fan gets noise, but it's something that I can fixe.

Best bang for your buck! I got it on sale for black friday to replacr my old desktop. I use on the go for work and it has been able to handle everything i throw at it. I could not be mote happiar!

It’s changed my mind for gaming laptop a lot; working perfect with every browser

Lots of power, but... zero linux support. The implementation of their Intel Optimus GFX switching causes continual failure when attempting to boot any OS that isn't Win11. No Calyx, no Mint, no Cachy, no Bazzite, nothing. Was hoping to have a 5080 laptop ready for SteamOS but ASUS dropped the ball here.
