Okay, so you want the absolute highest-end 14-inch gaming laptop? The Zephyrus G14 with the RTX 5080 is it—a beast of a machine that’s unbelievably fast for its size, but you gotta be ready for the trade-offs. The Good: This thing is ridiculously powerful. The RTX 5080 and Ryzen AI 9 CPU chew up modern games, especially since you can lean hard on DLSS 4 and Frame Generation at the native 2.8K resolution. That 120Hz OLED screen is pure fire, too—perfect blacks, G-Sync, and super responsive. It looks and feels premium; a true powerhouse you can actually throw in a backpack. The Vibe Check: Look, when you cram this much silicon into a thin chassis, physics happens. When you're pushing max settings, the keyboard deck gets seriously toasty, and the fans get LOUD. Seriously, wear a headset. Plus, this top-tier configuration is going to require emptying your savings account. The Summary: If you’re willing to pay the premium for truly unparalleled performance in a travel-friendly rig, and you don't mind the noise/heat trade-off, this is the king of portable gaming.

    Absolute powerhouse 14” laptop

Phenomenal laptop if you know what you’re getting in for. Being thin/light, it pushes a little less power than larger 16” comparable hardware, but you simply can’t beat the power it does have in this kind of form factor. Beautiful screen and room filling speakers, luxurious build quality.

This laptop is replacing my 10 year old desktop gaming rig. Taking it on the road has been a joy and stressing it with both multi-tasking and AI heavy workloads during productivity times has been met with ease. during down times, this system is extremely capable at running any and all current games I throw at it, with satisfyingly high quality considering it is a 14inch Laptop. Only down sides is having to travel with a large 240W DC power brick, not having a 64GB RAM configuration, and not having TB5 (however that is a completely different chipset problem). Overall I would recommend this system to anyone looking to have a long term AI/gaming/desktop replacement for the future.

I’m genuinely blown away by what this 14-inch laptop can do. From everyday work like web design to heavy creative tasks, it handles everything effortlessly. I’ve been running Premiere Pro and After Effects with live 3D tracking, and it cuts through projects like butter… no lag, no stutters, no issues. It’s the full package. At this point, I’m building my entire home setup around it. No bulky desktop needed.

Everything is working as advertised. I have been using this unit hardcore over the past month. It handles all work tasks easily and does a nice job running various games. It does heat up during intensive use, and I have been elevating the rear end a bit to provide for more airflow. I see that the temperature is still within the normal range. Also, love the screen display. I didn't think I would notice much of a difference from my last laptop, I was wrong.

Amazing machine! A lot of people say it runs hot but it is a gaming laptop. If you use g-helper, you can use it on your lap for homework or whatever without it heating up much at all. It’ll handle any game you throw at it.

This one is a beast, you can play anything you want at top high resolution using nvidia gpu and when you want to some serious work you have the options from where to choose: use nvidia gpu or amd AI cpu with integrated APU Over all you you have the power of an gaming/AI laptop in the size of a tablet.

This laptop is top of the line. I can run everything smoothly, and all the AAA games runs on very high settings. The oled screen is beautiful, once I used it I can't go back to none oled panels. For me the 14" is just perfect size and weight. I just don't like some of the windows updates, not the laptops fault. One of the best 14 inch gaming pc on the market right now specially with the RTX 5058.

Small Lightweight POWERFUL the AMD 5080 combo is best for my intended use. This guy is small enough to throw in a small backpack and powerful enough to use instead of my I9 and 4080 desktop.

It has a really nice design and build quality is excellent. Gaming on the 14 inch display is a little small, but is plenty for productivity and daily tasks. Used it with a 4k gamintor as well, the new 50 series graphics card worked very well. If you can swing the premium price tag, I don't think you'll regret it.

While this laptop cannot hit the same power levels as other laptops with the same GPU it makes up for in sheer quality and compactness. No other Windows laptop on the market has better sound and the display is stunning

This is an excellent laptop for media consumption and doing work. I primarily use it for research and medical work, not really to play games. It handles everything I need to do without a problem. Only real issue is the keyboard does get very warm.

Delivered on time. Great laptop, used but looks like new, light, compact and potent. 360 sound system and amazing graphics. The only thing is that when I'm playing some heavy games, the fan gets noise, but it's something that I can fixe.

Lots of power, but... zero linux support. The implementation of their Intel Optimus GFX switching causes continual failure when attempting to boot any OS that isn't Win11. No Calyx, no Mint, no Cachy, no Bazzite, nothing. Was hoping to have a 5080 laptop ready for SteamOS but ASUS dropped the ball here.
