Since I like to use my laptop for gaming, I normally look for higher-end components when shopping for a laptop. My current laptop is too big and heavy for travel, so I was in the market for a more travel-friendly gaming laptop without sacrificing performance. I have been impressed with Asus ROG Zephyrus laptops in the past and wanted to give the G14 a try. Display The OLED display was crystal clear. The picture during gaming was amazing and I was able to run at high FPS without performance issues. Sound I was surprised by the clear audio and deep bass from the speakers. I normally use headphones when gaming, but the sound was clear enough to enjoy music without them. Performance I could play any of my games on this laptop. It is truly a beast in a small package. However, since it is a smaller laptop, I did notice that the laptop would get warm, and the fan was noticeably loud during intense use. Battery Since most gaming laptops are power-hungry, I was not surprised when I was reaching for the charger after a little over an hour of use. The laptop does come with a proprietary 200-watt battery charger but can be charged with a 100-watt USB-C charger as well. I would recommend this laptop for on-the-go gaming and general use. It is a very capable machine and will be able to serve my needs for years to come.

Good performance uplift from my 2024 RTX 4070 G14 - 20% in most games and benchmarks. Great build quality and display, it's amazing they can fit so much in such a small and thin chassis. A little thicker and heavier compared to the 2024 model but that isn't surprising with a more powerful GPU.

Great laptop would definitely recommend for work and play.

Excellant product no issues out of box and works perfectly for what i use it for, the many options for preformance are very helpful.
