It does get hot using the default profiles from armory crate, download ghelper and look up a guide to get best noise/cooling performance.

Been playing Elden Ring and Crimson Desert at max 1080p with RT and no DLSS at reasonable frame rates with no problems. The all metal body feels pretty great, but also absorbs all the heat this thing dumps out. Not meant for laps when gaming.

You can tell it's throttling the computer a little bit, but from what I've noticed it doesn't seem to affect gameplay much. I've played Fallout 4 on 4k update, Phasmaphobia, Borderlands 2, and Cyberpunk. It struggled a little bit with cyberpunk 2 on high graphics, but for the most part it wasn't painstaking.

I exchanged an Intel HP Omen for this and this thing quite literally gets 2-3 hours more battery life off the charger. I also love the form factor and performance. It’s an amazing little gaming laptop.

The 4070 with 8gb Vram of last year was bad, and the new ryzen 9 AI HX 370 is way better than last year cpu. Is a little more heavy, but not much and because this has way better cooling than last year and more power. I so not recomend going with the 5080 version, unless you need the extra vram, 16gb.

The screen is beautiful and you can undervolt the CPU and GPU as needed to achieve good temperatures and maximize performance.

The only con I’ve noticed is the temperature of the laptop seems to rise pretty quickly even during simple tasks but if you can get past that its a great product

We recommend connecting the AC adapter while using USB-C charging and ensure this laptop is running with the most current BISO version.
