I wanted something portable that runs at great Fps and getting this was the best decision i could have made!

I really wanted to love this computer. It's the first time I've even considered purchasing a gaming laptop because it's the first time I've seen one in this form factor with this much power. Unfortunately, the power doesn't mean anything if it doesn't work right. My GPU is faulty. It hard throttles at 77 degrees C no matter what I'm doing. This makes competitive games impossible to play, and even first person titles will drop to 8-15 fps for 10-30 seconds at a time. I thought it was a software issue at first, so I missed my return window. I've now sent the computer to the Asus warranty center twice, and both times it's come back just as broken as before. I really wanted to love this laptop, but there's no way I can recommend that anyone spends $1500 on a product like this when I've had nothing but issues and bad customer service with mine. Wait until next year. I was an early adopter, and I got screwed. Just wait for the next iteration.

overall great computer, downside is the keyboard lighting at night...you can't see

Very fast computer for gaming. I used this against my other laptop and the games loaded much faster and better graphics

Once I got it, it took me only 10 minutes to setup, once the computer lit up I immediately turned off the horrible keyboard backlight, I have kept it off ever since. I played a few games like csgo or rocket league, I was expecting for it to do pretty good in rocket league but it went over my expectations and hit the max that rocket league allows! (250 fps is the max limit) and with a fast display with 120 Hz, amazing battery life, performance that is actually a bit overkill for the games I play, and perfect material, no cheap plastic, though it does not have a webcam which I am soon going to use this to work and I do need a webcam, I already had an external webcam so its no problem for me. Pros: Good Performance, Good Material, Fast display, Good keyboard (except backlight) Cons: Fans can get loud (Just turn it to silent mode and wear headphones), Terrible keyboard backlight, No webcam All the cons can be fixed for me, (Turning off backlight, Using an external webcam, and wearing headphones and adjusting in the armory crate) Hope this review helps!

The microphone does not work. Otherwise its a great laptop. Very high performance/cost ratio.

Honestly one of the best laptops Asus has put out in a long time. Well worth the money, and even a bit of a bargain.

well polished, i love it. look up the G14 on reddit to fix the thermal issues. Plays everything well.
