Best mobile gaming laptop

It worked through the most taxing video intestine games with no problems. If you need a portable gaming solution I would highly recommend this system. Also it will handle most off the needs for any type of school major as well. I sure you could get it to over heat however I was not able to get the fans to go to full speed so it’s really well design for such a small package. As far as set up it’s about like any other laptop and windows. Perry much walk you through. The ability to use phone as video is a pretty cool feature with the asus system however found it to be a bit buggy but worked for the most part - may have just been a bit of iphone revenge. Oliver all this is a highly recommend

It has issues and errors all over the place, drivers keep disappearing and it is still under warranty but because I bought it through Best Buy ASUS dosn't care.

Laptop for college

Screen spiderwebs after short use

Possibly damaged from shipping or just a faulty screen but the laptop was never mishandled once unboxed. I was told there was nothing best buy or asus could do for me since I didn’t dish out the Greek squad protection. I wouldn’t recommend this computer based on my experience.

It's weird to compliment the packaging but it really does set the stage nicely. I really like the look of the back of the laptop as well, the reflective dots add just enough glitz without being over the top. The laptop runs cool and quite while doing all manner of daily tasks. The screen is nice and bright and the colors look fairly natural but are slightly on the saturated and cool side. The keyboard is on par with other high-end compact laptops. The trackpad is very smooth and sized nicely. There is a fingerprint scanner in the power button and it functions very well. Definitely one of the best scanners I've used on a laptop. The Ryzen 7 CPU has plenty of power for any administrative tasks and should be enough for years to come. The GTX 1650 can help with software that can leverage it such as photo and video editing suites. It can also handle some casual gaming, I was able to achieve playable framerates at 1080p with low to medium settings in a few modern title, which on a side note low and medium settings look a lot better than I remember from years past. It's definitely capable of providing some solid gaming entertainment. Between the build quality and performance, this is a great laptop with a beautiful form factor.

The box is designed to raise the laptop as the lid is opened to reveal a beautifully designed machine. The size and finish of the device are what every laptop should strive for. I enjoy how the monitor is slightly elevated when I’m use and the extra row of keyboard buttons for the volume controls are a welcome change. Performance is excellent. Overall it’s a great laptop.
