Excellent laptop for work as well as gaming. Ryzen 5800hs APU with 8 cores is pretty good and trades blows with Intel I9 processors. Nvidia 1650 GTX Gpu is decent but need to turn down the settings to get good fps. Laptop is completely silent with no fans in silent mode and in battery power. Great battery life, awesome for work and good for some gaming (though not its focus). Got this on sale for around eight hundred and highly recommend at that price

Laptop has been overall good. But it doesn’t have a camera and the usb ports are limited to 2 both on the right.

This is my first *good* computer I've ever owned and so far I'm very happy with it! I got this when it was on sale for $949 and I feel like I'm getting great value for that price. I'm an avid Sims 4 player and this handles it like it's nothing, which is all I could want as a pretty average computer user. My only complaint is that it gets too hot to have on my lap when I'm playing games (which I kinda expected anyways) so I'll be getting a lap desk for it.

I use this ROG Zephyrus daily (College) and the performance is outstanding, its operation is quiet and so cool. The graphic card is great and its speed is perfect. The best part is the design and color, I would recommend this equipment to a normal user (web browising, college classes, office and programming). Battery life is awesome and Asus ROG protection packaging is notable. Go for this brand!

We bought for an Energy Startup; does the job well. We bought the floor unit so it was a no brainer.

Very nice and portable. However, after a couple of weeks, I would get random times which the wifi card would just stop working. Then I'd have to do the "Troubleshoot and repair" routine to get it working again. Sometimes the troubleshooting & repair doesn't even work so I would have to restart the laptop for it to work. The last straw was when BOTH the troubleshooting/repair AND the restart WOULD NOT WORK! I tried for about an hour before I gave up and went back to work. When I came home it was working again. NO, it wasn't my internet service or my router. All of my devices are connected to the same router and ONLY THE LAPTOP wouldn't connect. It did not even FIND any wifi signals to connect to. (that is how I came to the conclusion that the wifi card is bad) Also, the fingerprint scanner hardly ever works for me. It's a great laptop when it's working. Would have rated 5-stars. I am only rating 3 stars because I'm probably the unlucky 1 of 100 that purchases a faulty product.

I was looking for the laptop for school work rather than gaming. I was considering ultrabook kind first, but then there was barely any ultrabook laptop with cezanne cpu in the market, so I kept eyeing on this product since I heard G14s are relatively lightweight and have a good battery life for gaming laptop, so I decided to give it a try. Here are some Pros and Cons after using this for a week. Pros: 1. Great Battery Life/ Thermals: With some tweaks (enabling igpu mode on armoury crate, disabling turbo boost on windows registry, etc) and fresh installing windows to delete all bloatwares, I was able to get around 10 hours of battery life on idle, maybe 8 hours on normal usage. Pretty Impressed. Thermalwise, before disabling turbo boost which limits maximum clock speed, mine runs at 90 ~ 94C on load, which is not that impressive. but after disabling turbo boost, it runs at 38~ 44C on idle and 70~ 77C on full load. limiting clock speed does hinder the laptop's performance, but not that much (you get only 3~5 fps difference on gaming), so definitely worth to do so imo. 2. Color accurate screen: this laptop, I believe, has 97% sRGB screen, which satisfied my needs. 3. Keyboard/trackpad: coming from 2019 13 inch MBP, this one definitely has better key travel so it feels way better. As for the trackpad, it feels pretty smooth and accurate. can't speak much of them since I'm not that knowledgeable of keyboard and trackpads. 4. Versatility: Compared to other gaming laptops, this is one of the few lightweight gaming laptops in the market without sacrificing too much performance. If you need a laptop that's portable enough to carry around but powerful enough to use it with an external screen like a desktop, g14 is perfect for such niche, although you'd need better gpu than this variant if you were into high demanding games. (maybe get 3060 version?) Cons: 1. 16:9 screen: 16:10 screen ratio would be really good to have for productivity, but sadly this one has 16:9 screen. 2. Setting up the first time could be cumbersome I had to do some reaserching on web to learn how to get the best battery life and thermals, and this process quite be annoying and complicated if you're not into this stuff. I wouldn't say it's hard imo, but it might be difficult for some people. I mostly got the information from g14 subreddit so definitely check it out before buying. 3. Coil Whine: This problem is real. I hear this high frequency noise every time I bend my head towards the keyboard. I found it pretty bearable so I decided not to return, but it's definitely one thing that you should take into consideration. Hopefully I heard some people didn't experience this issue at all so you might get lucky. Overall, it's pretty awesome machine. There aren't many laptops in the market that falls into lightweight gaming laptop category, (maybe razer blade, legion slim 7?) and this machine serves such purpose like a champ. That said, if you're looking for the laptop that offers the most powerful performance out of all gaming laptops, this wouldn't fit your need, so rather go for Omen, legion 5 pro or ROG strix. but if you need a gaming laptop that you can carry around and don't want to lose all performance that general gaming laptop has to offer, this is the one.

Hi, I purchase this laptop for my son, he needs a laptop for school but needs to do home with office products. He also like to do some PC gaming, the laptop is light and feels very durable for it being a gaming laptop. I would recommend this laptop to any parent child that want to use for school work and some gaming as well.
