This was my son. Powerful enough for my son to be able to play his games like Fortnite and also portable enough to use it for his homework anywhere in the house and at his grandmas house. I really like the form factor and how light and also sturdy it feels.

I got this laptop open box with a pretty heft discount. Even without the discount this laptop would be worth it, and I’ve tried many gaming laptops. This laptop literally runs smoother than my pc. The screen is so good, it makes you never want to use a non OLED screen again. Speakers are loud enough, not anything crazy but good overall. Keyboard is customizable and light up. The design is so sleek, probably the main reason I got the laptop. And the specs on this laptop are amazing. The gou and cpu are really good, and 1TB of storage is plenty, and I play a lot of games. Sure the ram is only 16 GB, but all my games run at medium-high graphics with 60+ frames when plugged in. That includes Black Myth Wukong, which is one of the most demanding games I’ve ever played. When unplugged, expect to turn your graphics down, and expect only 2 hours of battery life. Also be super careful with the hinges bc it feels super fragile and ive heard that asus laptops have bad hinges. The material of the laptop also feels like plastic, i’m not too sure. I assume you have to treat this laptop with a lot of care. Other than that, expect to get your moneys worth.

I've owned the 2022 model, and it was awesome. This 2024 model is a perfect laptop to me. Oled 120hz. I got this 16gb with a 4060, and I can play Fortnite in full resolution 3k at 120 fps on dlss performance medium settings. Very nice. All games play very well. The keyboard feels nice. Speakers have very nice sounds. Really, everything is great except for one small flaw. RAM is soldered on, so there is nothing expanding for more RAM. 16gb for now is still fine for gaming, and you can close out and stop all other programs to make sure no other programs are stealing your game play RAM. You can upgrade the NVME storage and the WIFI card if ya like. Best Buy has good sales, so keep an eye out for that.

The do everything laptop with a slim compact design. I've owned every iteration of the G14, this one smacks it out of the park with its 120hz OLED display. The hardware is perfectly suited for this resolution and size. The 4060 with DLSS can run almost every game 60+ fps ON BATTERY. It's really remarkable to see something so thin and quiet push out Unreal Engine 5 gameplay.

Great visuals and stunning performance. Fans can get a bit loud under heavy load but otherwise makes little to no noise. Build quality is great as well and does not feel flimsy at all.

Good: sleek, cool RGB lighting, lightweight, portable, and powerful with a great display. Not great: 16GB RAM is far too little and the max of 32GB with an upgrade is less desirable than 64GB. The panel above the keyboard gets very hot, even when not taxing the GPU. Overall decent quality and power in a sleek design at a decent price point but needs some tweaks to make it great.

It just does everything. Being a gaming laptop, the specifications on board are overkill for my work use even on the Eco settings, and it keeps up with all of the games I enjoy on max settings for most and high for the rest. The form factor and weight lets me lug it around wherever I need to, while the sleek look is an advantage over other gaming laptops when taken to a professional setting. Absolute steal for the price after the $400 discount.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 is an all around awesome laptop. In a lot of ways, its like having the best of both worlds. An excellent all around day to day laptop for work and home and a mid to somewhat high end gaming laptop. Its size and build are great. Small and light allowing you to take it anywhere. Excellent range of ports including dual USB-C and HDMI 2.1. The 1TB SSD is pretty standard these days but still very fast and sizeable. The 16GB of DDR5 RAM is about a low as you would want to go with a new laptop these days. For non-gaming use it is more than enough. But for gaming I would normally say you would want more these days, but the RTX 4060 combined with the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS all help this laptop keep up with the most demanding games. You may not be able to max out settings on every game, but you won't be far from it. Runs "The Last Of Us 1 Remastered" great! Asides from the size and weight, the real beauty of this laptop is the 14" OLED 3K 120Hz screen. This is just a thing of beauty. There are gaming machines out there with faster refresh rates, but considering this is a OLED 3K this is pretty nice. Games of course look amazing with the deep contrasts. But the screen also makes this a killer traveling entertainment center. I generally don't expect much for good sound on a laptop but the sound is quiet good. If you are just looking for a top end gaming machine, you might want a bit more. But if you want an excellent all around laptop that can do everything well then this is worth checking out.

The laptop is phenomenal for design and gaming. It runs games and programs really well. I do have a minor complaint about the amount of heat that is generated, but the processor is running at good temps. OLED screen is amazing to look at as well. Great Product.

Managed to grab this laptop from my local store during a $500 off sale. Definitely an upgrade from the last generation! Laptop now has an aluminum frame, display quality is excellent, and includes the “Dolby Access” app by default for even greater sounding built-in speakers and beautiful display settings for great content viewing!

Easily the best this laptop line has ever been. I've had a G14 since 2020, and I've always been a big fan, despite some consistent quality control issues. This is on another level. I'm not personally as big of a fan of the silver color, but this thing feels like a macbook in terms of build quality. And god, the OLED screen. The display is probably the single best display I own, and that's a very high bar.

Love this laptop, it does heat up quite a bit but I'll be ordering a laptop fan for that. I specifically looked for one strong enough to do both digital art on as well as gaming while not being that heavy for easy transport. It's a great investment if you don't want to buy a whole computer while having the strength to operate almost like one.

Been awhile since I've had to use anything but a work laptop but found myself in the market this year. Spent a ton of time looking at various manufacturers and options, read a lot of reviews and articles, and visited a number of stores to get a physical feel for them. I have a desktop but will be traveling extensively and my gaming is oriented toward RPG and Strategy as opposed to graphic intensive shooters (although still important). I tried using a Steam deck with my current work laptop but the screen is just too small and it's a bit too big for me to easily pack (vs an iPad for example). A 16"+ screen laptop would be something I'd consider if I wanted to replace even my desktop, but was otherwise to big to use on planes and are heavy. So eventually locked in on a 14" screen, under 5 lbs, and less than 1" thick with good graphics and specs and a reasonable price. The 14" Zephyrus hit the sweet spot almost perfectly. It is sleek, lightweight, backed by a reputable brand, excellent components, got it for a great price over black friday ($400 off), and just looks great. Wasn't even aware of this line before I started my research and couldn't be happier. For some reason I thought it had two M.2 slots but it only has one. This mildly complicated my upgrade to a 4TB SSD but it went fine with plenty of guides online. Note there are 2 bottom screws under rubber stubs and you really need the guitar pick or something similar to separate the case easily. My other mild concern is that the 16GB of memory is not upgradeable but will likely be ready to replace the whole laptop in a few years anyway if it becomes a problem. Bloatware is mild compared to some other manufacturers but haven't gone through the effort of deleting/disabling a bunch of stuff until I get a feel for how it's running first. Again, plenty of guides and notes online on recommendations. Given I'm using this as a personal computer while traveling, security and access will be a concern so will be installing some additional software like VPNs. Overall I haven't put the system through its paces yet but expect to get a lot of use from it over the next couple of years. Visually the unit is a work of art. The Platinum (silver) shell stands out without being garish and I could easily use this at a work meeting. It fits on the food tray on planes and the screen is crisp and easy on the eyes. Power includes a USB C option so can extend use via a compatible external battery if AC isn't available. The laptop runs quiet on top of everything else. Highly recommended if it fits your needs and probably one of the best 14" laptops available out in the market.

A truly amazing machine! If you're looking for a laptop that can do a little bit of everything, this is the one. This laptop is super power efficient and lasts me all day while I'm going between classes, and still have some battery to run some games. One complaint I have though, I think the base model should have more than 16 GB of RAM since applications are moving toward being more RAM heavy. Tips if you decide to buy this laptop: Get G-Helper, it improves the default ASUS software and extends the battery life by a noticeable amount and adds options not found in the default software.
