My son loves his new laptop! We have warranty and got everything for great price

I mean just from its description your expectations go up. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" OLED EK 120 Hz Gaming Laptop with AMD Ryzen 9, RTX 4070, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD is a beast modern technology for sure. Out of the box, I was just how light the whole thing was. I have owned previous generations of ASUS ROG Zephyrus and they are not typically the lightest ones on the market. It weighs around 3.3 lbs which to me is just an incredible feat of engineering from ASUS. I really love the design as well. It does not scream gaming laptop. It just feels incredibly sleek and well-built. ASUS really is appealing to a broader market with this design. Even my wife who generally despises using my gaming laptops and computers was impressed by how good it looked. In terms of actual usage, the screen is just gorgeous. The OLED speaks for itself. It gets fairly bright. The max refresh rate of 120 Hz is more than enough in my opinion for what this laptop is used for. The keyboard feels great to type on. The touchpad is great. ASUS didn't cheap out on ports which is in line with its previous Zephyrus models. In terms of performance, it definitely performs well. It puts the the RTX 4070 to work. One thing to remember, is that in this form factor, there are some compromises made for thermals. I believe the power limit is lower. You will not be running 1800P games at 120 Hz but you can still have a decent portable gamer. With the form factor, I do think the bottom can get pretty hot at times but overall with everyday use, I had no issues whatsoever. All in all, I think the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 this year is an incredible feat and helps set the bar.

I bought this laptop at the end of June (it is now November 1st) and the laptop has already failed me. 1. It is stuck in an auto-shut off loop. My guess is that it is overheating but I am not sure. I can't start the computer anymore. 2. The rubber bumper at the bottom completely deformed and stretched and is hanging off. I can't glue it back on as it is now longer than it used to be. These are two nasty problems for a relatively new laptop. I am deeply concerned with the build quality and long term performance.

Loud at it's highest settings, but performs well all things considered, and the keyboard feels excellent!

Look I always hear horror stories about ASUS products and yes I've owned other ASUS items before from pc parts to monitors. And I bought this thinking, its okay only people with bad experiences write reviews, I'm sure mine won't have problems! But this laptop has truly been nothing but a headache for me since I purchased it 7 months ago. Some issues have been fixed with BIOS updates, but still those took way too long. As I write this I'm currently waiting for my laptop to be RMA'd because of motherboard issues. But getting to this step was a pain in the A as ASUS and BestBuy will constantly try to pass you off to eachother with automated chats so they don't have to spend the time or money to fix it. To get a real person to help me I had to call a completely random ASUS department and demand their supervisor connect me with the RMA department.

Good laptop. It’s nice and light. Runs everything I need it too. Screen looks amazing. Speakers are amazing. Pretty light. It’s just really good.

Had this laptop for a month now, and here's my take: Pros: -really fast, runs all my favorite games at max settings for 90-120fps -AMAZING SPEAKERS (better than my AirPods) -great display -really quiet during productivity based tasks (absolutely silent) -long battery life (lasts a whole school day) -lightweight, sleek MacBook like build (nobody could tell this was a gaming laptop) Cons: -HORRIBLE wifi card - when I first got it, it literally could not play YouTube videos at 720p even. However, I fixed this my swapping a new Intel card instead, and it's much better. -Keyboard font is not my taste. Not only that, the lighting is terrible, and I can't even see the !@#$% signs in dark spaces (it only lights up the numbers). -Fans spin REALLY LOUDLY under load Overall, an amazing laptop with no reliability issues. I would give it a 4.5, but since Best Buy doesn't do half scores, it's a 4 instead.

This laptop came with a front facing camera...but NO camera driver at all nor a way to make this camera work. I've spent hours on the phone and virtual support with Geek Squad, I even gave them remote access to the machine and watched them fumble around for 45 minutes trying to confirm that this model even had a camera on it by going to Amazon (I wish I was kidding), then they wrote in their final notes that the laptop had a hard drive issue. I've tried to replace it with a machine that was built correctly, but everyone keeps telling me there's nothing they can do. Unbelievably disappointed with the computer and especially with Best Buy and Geek Squad's customer service. It's garbage. A $2000 high end premium gaming laptop without a functioning camera, and no one can help me. Asus tells me to go talk to Best Buy, Best Buy tells me to go talk to Asus, Geek Squad tells me to talk to Asus. It's unreal.
