Great Laptop, runs incredibly smooth, i did get it when it was on special, and much like any gaming prebuild computer or laptop, i would alway wait for a discount. With the RTX4060 its able to run some of the latest games on High - Ultra without an issue. I wish that the air exhaust was similar to the earlier ROG or even the alienware, however it gets the job done. Definately recommend if you can get it for a discount. Top Line performance (2023)

I purchased this computer as an open-box item. It has been fantastic! It offers flexibility based on what I need, whether it's work, school, or gaming. Additionally, it allows for components to be upgraded, added or replaced. My only complaint is that battery life isn't as good as I would hope, but that hasn't been a problem.

Powerful laptop that runs any game I throw at it. Only downside is battery

This laptop has been amazing, I'm able to play any games on it while also being able to use it for work related stuff. The only issue Is battery life. I can play a game for about an hour and a half before having to plug git in. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Runs games great! Bg3 looks fantasic. Get hot when charging and running games but i expected that.

Great speed and performance! It gets a bit hot sometimes due to the powerful NVIDIA video card, but I will buy a fan to help with the heat. The screen is also amazing! And I love the embedded My Asus App which gives me a lot of control on many features besides the regular Control Panel and Settings in Windows.

I love this laptop! Its fast, has good graphics and sound. Its great for the gaming that i do.

Excellent screen, not super bright, but the colors are great. Battery life is at least 7 hours. Nice and big touchpad, and a bunch of handy Asus features. Build quality is great apart from the screen bezel, of which the glue wasn't applied right, but so far no issues with that. Screen bleeding is minimal. Great product.

Too little storage and the fans are really loud but everything else is great

Was available day 1 of 4060 launch, and has played every game I've thrown at it on at least high settings. 1920x1200 is a perfect resolution for this class of laptops, and it's "no frills" approach kept the price low. The 16gb of RAM is onboard, which I thought was bad at first, but it actually has a SODIMM slot as well so you can throw another module in for 32gb (or 48gb if you don't mind mismatching).

Love the 13 gen core. Very fast laptop. The "print screen" button is missing off the keyboard which annoys me because I use it quite a bit for work. My fix was to put the onscreen keyboard in my menu line. Backlit keyboard is fun, but it would be cool if it would stay one color, tiny bit distracting. I can turn it off, but want the backlight. Great laptop for the price.

Very fast and good look, games run very well and nice screen.

This thing is everything I want in a laptop for the price - solid internals, good enough screen, all in a compact package. It's just a shame that ASUS can't spend just a bit more time on quality control. I'm now on my second G16. The first one was excellent...except for a trackpad that would not perform two-finger scrolling or double-clicking if you applied anything more than the lightest touch on the trackpad. I thought this was a software issue, but after multiple driver updates, BIOS updates, and even reinstalling Windows 11, nothing changed. So I exchanged it. The second unit has the exact same issue, but also has a keyboard with about a dozen loose feeling keys (the prior unit's keyboard was perfect.) ASUS - we all love your products, but your QC is absolutely killing you. I hate MacOS with a passion, but I'm ready to go that route at this point, because at least I know the odds of getting a lemon are exceptionally small. With ASUS, based on my own purchases and those of others I know, the return for defect rate seems to be 20-30%. That's just crazy. If you win the lottery and get a good one, the G16 is absolutely fantastic. You just have to ask yourself if it's worth the risk and the hassle. For some it is. For me, I'm not so sure any longer.
