Best Bang For Your Buck In Gaming Laptops

Runs very smooth and not super noisy either. Definitely get yourself a cooling stand from amazon to pair with it and you're good to go.

ASUS ROG rig rocks it

Knowing the ASUS ROG gear was good, I did a little research and found this one to replace it. I quickly and easily expanded to a 2TB SSD and added another stick of memory, by myself. Activation and setup from the cloud quickly got me back online within a few hours. So far, the computer is good and handles WoW, CoD, RDO, Destiny, and Starfield without issue, at some of the highest resolutions/graphics settings. Only cons: headphone jack is in the left front corner and cord can get in your way if you're using one; only 2 USBs; fans are loud when it is overcooling. Suggest you buy a laptop stand to help with cooling.

Great laptop for gaming and work

I've used it for work and gaming. I've been able to run the latest games like starfield and baldrs gate 3 on ultra settings. Looks really sleek and is great to use.

Average gaming laptop if you get a good price

The biggest drawback for this is that the fans are very loud when gaming and the area around the keyboard gets quite hot to the touch. I got this on sale as an open box for 850$ and it feels like a good value at that price. I would have been disappointed if I payed more.

Great value laptop!

Battery life is great if you optimize your laptop (aka clean wipe + ghelper instead of armory crate. Advance optimus is nice too. I am getting about 8 to 9 hours if my discharge rate is around 7-9W. Speakers are actually really impressive for a laptop. 2 NVME slots and one ram upgradable slot. Cons: laptop scratches easily. Only FHD+ not QHD which is an unusual omission since the G14 has QHD. DDR4 memory instead of DDR5 but it probably makes no differencce.

Although Intel uses a higher TDP the battery life is great for gaming. The fans are a little loud but thats a good thing, feel the heat coming out of this thing and the intakes next to the keyboard make it feel like a cool breeze over your hands on a ong play session. Display is bright and vibrant. Keyboard makes a nice clicky, clicky noise like a mechinical one. The rgb isn't too over the top and is very easily customized within the included aoftware

Overall really solid laptop

Overall I had one minor hiccup on the first model where there was a problem with the graphics. It kept flashing and I tried pretty much everything and luckily I was still able to return it and got the same model again and ever since that I’ve had this model and it’s been working perfectly fine. I would say it’s a very good laptop for the price that I paid. The only thing that I wish would be different is that it would be a higher quality display like 1440P and it would have 240 Hz refresh rate, but that’s just me being picky.

Nice Notebook for my needs

It has made a big differenct in downloading my photos from the sd card. The notebook handles the most recent Photoshop and Lightroom releases. I am getting used to using a USB C to USB hub with a separate usb to c card reader. I am happy with this purchase and can recommend for someone who just uses this to process photos, use the internet, and for just every day tasks.

Has many customizable options ranging from performance to background and LEDs. Battery life is great considering is being a performance laptop. Only problems I’ve had are typical PC freezing.
