Great build quality and performance, but as several software issues and can hang on things sometimes despite being more than capable.
Best purchase possible especially under a discount

I bought an open-box variant from the store which was marked as "Good". But it had no visible marks or scratches at all. Am really happy with the device. Something to bear in mind is that the device runs really hot (around 85-87°C for CPU and 70°C for GPU under heavy load (I play Deadlock often) so I would recommend using another keyboard and keeping it on a desk that has proper ventilation. Am really happy with how responsive the device is for almost any given task. 2TB HDD is also a lifesaver as installing essential software (for music production, video editing, MS Office) and a few games took up about 700GB of space for me and so having the headroom helped and feels like futureproofing! Not significantly heavier than Zephyrus G14, definitely significantly lighter than most other gaming laptops of around 16" and in this price bracket. Fans are loud but not that much louder than 14" from my experience. The lights on the back are really cool as well. Battery life is good compared to other laptops of this form factor but definitely not like a Macbook. Display although slightly lower resolution than 14", is still phenomenal.

What I expected after researching some options. Runs local AI stuff fast. Little pricey considering the it's the lesser version of the 5080 compared to the desktop version. But if laptop is what you want, this is great. Gets hot when gpu is working hard, but this was known. Got one of those cheap cooling stands / pads just to give it a surface to sit on while the fans are blasting, don't need to plug it in though.

Its a great gaming laptop. it form factor is compact, it runs games great although you might not get the highest fps running super ultra settings on aaa titles, it still fantastic for a laptop and very playable. The screen is awesome, oled black is deep black. this laptop can do it all, gaming productivity educational streaming.

ASUS Zephyrus G16 performance a stylish design and high-end construction. To start the screen looks fantastic. The 16-inch QHD+ display provides amazing color accuracy and clarity making creative work and games enjoyable. Whether you're immersed in a competitive match or simply binge-watching your favorite shows this displays high refresh rate, and incredibly thin bezels make for an immersive experience. The G16 truly shines when it comes to gaming performance. Equipped with the newest Intel and NVIDIA hardware it efficiently runs contemporary AAA games maintaining fluid frame rates even at high settings. Fast load times and smooth multitasking are guaranteed by the combination of fast storage and lots of RAM. This computer can easily handle anything from graphically demanding RPGs to fast-paced FPS games. Another aspect in which ASUS excels is build quality. The G16 boasts a high-end simple chassis that feels both robust and light. It's a beast of performance but it also feels and looks like a high-end piece of technology. Long periods of use are comfortable and responsive, and the cooling system is remarkably effective and silent. All things considered the ASUS Zephyrus G16 is a top-tier gaming laptop that offers a remarkable overall experience. Whether you're a content creator an avid gamer or someone who simply values high-quality hardware this computer is well worth the money.

Lightweight powerful machine. Great screen display, graphic is crisp and vibrant colors, if you travel a lot while on the road with no plug can become a bit difficult, battery doesn’t last long, if you use it on your lap it can get very hot specially if wearing shorts, keyboard area gets hot but nothing out of the normal gaming laptop, performs extremely well in gaming even in the highest settings.

Amazing screen - cant live without a 2.5k OLED 240hz screen after trying this beast out. Amazing quality build and can run basically any game on max settings. Be prepared for it to get hot though.

This laptop is excellent for what I was looking for as a graduate student in biomedical informatics. It has all the essentials and the powerful hardware allows me to run some of my models locally which is huge help as to not being reliant on the computing cluster all the time. One thing to note, there are no bios options to adjust the lights, so you have to install an app if you want to manipulate the slash lighting on the back (it was super distracting for professors). DO NOT DOWNLOAD ARMOURYCRATE. I had bluescreens for 2 days by the time I realized what was the problem. I recommend using ghelper if needed.
The screen wobble is also significant due to the larger size of the laptop if you are uncomfortable with that keep in consideration.

Its a great mid level gaming laptop.
Pros: nice backlit keyboard, can handle all my favorite games, no issues with the screen, a fairly gold value, especially if its on sale.
Cons: heavy, also the fans can get loud during long gaming sessions. Not the best battery life, but it is a gaming laptop.

As an Xbox gamer, I was searching for a portable yet powerful device that would allow me to play on the go. Initially, I had my eyes on the Xbox ROG Ally, but its price tag made me reconsider my options.
I eventually chose this laptop, which, while more expensive, delivers noticeably more power and remains easy to carry. Its performance has exceeded my expectations for gaming and multitasking. One of the biggest advantages is its versatility—I can also use it for work while on vacation, eliminating the need to carry both an iPad and/or MacBook Air.
Overall, I am highly satisfied with its performance and the flexibility it offers as a gaming and productivity device.
