A very good laptop, I have owned the 2021 G15 with the rtx 3070 so this feels like a good upgrade with the extra 32 ram and the extra vram for 2k gaming.

Gray gaming laptop if you’re on the go and the visualization and the hearing of the sound is very immersive and it just keeps the gameplay just that much more fun and it’s a very nice machine that takes a very little room!

This ASUS laptop has been great so far. It’s fast, quiet, and handles everything I need with no issues. The display looks fantastic, and the design feels really premium. Perfect for both work and gaming — couldn’t be happier with it.

The Asus G16 is honestly an amazing laptop that hits a great balance. After years of gaming and creating content on high-end laptops—special custom builds and many top-tier models—I can say this one feels like a fresh and pretty unique entry in the market. It's definitely a premium machine, so if you're worried about the cost, this probably isn’t for you—and I won't even go there. But if you're looking for something that’s really well-rounded, it’s worth considering.
At first, I wasn’t totally sold on its gaming performance—mainly because I was expecting a little more from the RTX 5070. It’s a beast, no doubt, but I think some throttling to keep it portable and cool might be holding it back a bit. That said, it still handles every game I threw at it with solid frame rates—just not crazy high rates like I initially hoped. But I stepped back and realized this laptop isn’t just about raw speed; it’s designed for a premium overall experience. It’s meant to do a lot, and do it all well.
The design is super sleek—thin, relatively light, and easy to carry around. The screen’s a standout, with incredible contrast and color accuracy. Watching movies, editing videos, or gaming—everything looks fantastic. I kept calling my wife and son over just to show them how good the display was. The Armoury Crate software makes it easy to tune the display settings, with presets for different activities, including a night mode that reduces eye strain.
Audio-wise, this thing is really capable—loud, rich, and clear across all frequencies. My first test was a first-person shooter, and I jumped at how deep and impactful the gunfire sounded. Definitely more than I expected from built-in speakers. Of course, plugging in good headphones or external speakers will give you even better audio, but these are more than enough for most uses.
Performance-wise, it’s fast — great for video rendering, gaming, and everyday tasks. The storage is quick, the GPU and CPU handle pretty much everything smoothly, and Wi-Fi is fast and stable, making good use of my gigabit connection. The keyboard feels solid, with just enough travel for responsive typing, and the big, smooth trackpad really boost productivity. The software lets you customize things easily, making it a versatile machine you can use for work, gaming, or media.
That said, a couple little quirks— it sits pretty low on the desk, so I wonder about cooling, though the vents at the back do seem to help. It runs hot when under heavy load, so I’d avoid using it on your lap without some kind of cooling pad. The lighting on the lid is a bit cheesy for my taste, but thankfully it’s easy to turn off. The proprietary charging port is slightly annoying, but it’s nice that it can also accept a high-powered USB-C charger.
Overall, this is a fantastic high-end laptop. It’s versatile enough for productivity, media, gaming, and content creation—all packed into a portable case. Once I got to know it better, I appreciated its capabilities even more, and I think it’s going to stay relevant for a long time. If you’ve got the budget and aren’t just trying to max out frame rates, you’ll probably love this machine.
