I recently got the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 with the RTX 5070 Ti from Best Buy and it’s been great for both gaming and creative work. The 16″ 240 Hz OLED screen looks amazing with sharp colors and smooth motion, and the performance with the Intel Core Ultra 9 + RTX 5070 Ti combo handles modern games and demanding tasks without breaking a sweat. Battery life is decent for everyday stuff, though it doesn’t last as long under heavy gaming, and the fans can kick up when things get intense. Overall it’s a solid laptop that feels premium and powerful, especially for the price.

If you essentially want a Mac Book Pro 16 but running native Windows, this is it. The 5070ti is the sweet spot on this device due to wattage restrictions on the GPU. It does get a bit loud if you push the device, but running in silent mode does give....ok gaming experience without noise. Performance mode is the best noise to performance ratio. Turbo is just too much noise for me. Overall, fantastic device if you can look past the premium price.

Great laptop. Display is very clear not only for gaming but also for school work. Good battery life for all day schoolwork and a bit less if your playing games.

This is everything you would expect from a high end gaming Laptop... including the heat :) It plays cyberpunk 2077 better than my gaming desktop, looks incredible on the screen, and has handled everything I throw at it. It is thinner than my work Laptop, and runs faster/better. The only complaint is how hot it gets. You can turn the fans to turbo, but still not touch the heat. If you're looking for extended game play with any type of graphic clarity, you will want a laptop cooler.

Very reliable excellent graphics battery long time

I really wanted to like this laptop; its performance was great for a laptop, and the screen is top tier. Unfortunately, it had so many tedious things. The first issue was powering it on. At first, I had no issues, but then after a single day, I would have to plug it in just to power it on, and then I could use it. I'm not sure what caused this, but the issues started after doing a BIOS update and updating Windows, etc. The second issue was power modes; they never saved, and every use, I would have to change all my settings back to what I liked. Third came down to noise levels. I get it's a thin gaming laptop, but if you wanted max performance, the fan curves, preset or custom, were all over the place. I kept this laptop for the better part of a week, and I tried my best to like it, but after so many issues kept stacking up any time I used it, I finally just got tired of it and returned it. Also, a warning: if purchased online, at least from my experience, UPS did not like delivering a high-value package, and after two days of difficulties, I finally got them to leave it at a drop-off point, but I unfortunately lost 40 bucks I spent on the faster shipping.

Excellent Laptop for students and professionals who want a performance and portability

Incredible computer with great visuals. Battery life is amazing compared to other gaming laptops, but still too low for a normal work computer.

Extremely good value if you get an open box deal. This is as close as a windows laptop gets to the macbook pro experience. The screen is great, speakers are phenomenal, and performance is great for the form factor, although the 5080 and 5090 don't get the full wattage that larger laptops would have. I get roughly 8-9 hours of battery life when working with VScode, WSL, Firefox, and Discord open, which is about the same with just firefox open playing youtube.

The ASUS Zephyrus G16 is an awesome laptop if you need power and portability. It handles schoolwork, creative projects, and gaming without breaking a sweat — video editing, coding, and AAA games all run super smooth. The screen is crisp and colorful, the keyboard feels great for long typing sessions, and the battery life is solid for a high-performance machine. It’s a bit pricey, but for what you get — speed, performance, and build quality — it’s totally worth it.

Incredible machine. I purchased this computer as I needed a strong machine for business computing needs as I deal with a lot of data. I had used a similar machine at a previous employer, just with less RAM, and liked it. I would 10/10 recommend this computer if the price isn't a concern.

Screen looks amazing, very good bulis quality, looks everthing smooth

This was my first gaming laptop that I’ve have ever purchased. I am really impressed with the performance, built quality, screen resolution and how well it handles games and 3D modeling software. It was a good choice for me since it was on sale and needed a decent computer for designing 3D modeling. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a new powerful laptop at a reasonable price.

I had bought a lenovo legion pro 7i with and rtx 5080 and that was very powerful yet very heavy to move around so I found this laptop which was less powerful yet much more portable and once I started using it the lower power did not seem that significant, instead what was more significant was the work efficiency moving around and the great battery life. 5/5

This computer is incredible. I've been a user of the Zephyrus line since they had the 1070 in their laptops, and without a doubt, they are still the best. This generation is thinner, more powerful, and the screen is simply incredible. I think the only downside is that I would have preferred Ryzen over Intel. If you like what the Zephyrus line has to offer, you'll definitely love it. However, it should be noted that you can't have everything in a laptop this thin, and if you want portability, you're going to have to sacrifice some aspects such as enormous performance and battery life, even though it's still too powerful.
