Exceptional laptop for anything you’ll need it for! I’ve done a lot with it in the short time i’ve had it. It also has an extra internal SSD slot for more storage. The AMD Ryzen 9 AI Hx 370 processor is incredibly fast, and the RTX 4060 is great for any modern game. The most impressive part of this laptop for me is the OLED screen. It’s 240 hz, which is very responsive and very vivid. I recommend this, as someone who wouldn’t usually go for a gaming laptop. If you can find a good open box deal on it, I would totally go for it. When you use the internal gpu, you can get around 7-8 hours of battery just watching movies and stuff. However using the 4060 I would only expect to game off the charger for about an hour or two.

The laptop immediately paired with my XBOX X controller. I was ready to game in minutes. It also does all the school and work stuff I must do at home. It also looks sharp with a thunderbolt on the top. The screen is OLED and has a bright, stunning display. It also has four speakers that you can crank up!

Great experience ordering, receiving and setting up my device.

It's alright but has serious issues with the WiFi and ASUS bloatware. - WiFi stopped working after a Windows update nuked the driver and I had to use another system with a flash drive to restore it. - Display is set to some hyper-saturated preset by default but you can set it to DCI-P3 or sRGB. - Armory Crate sucks, use G-Helper instead. - The SSD it comes with is extremely low quality but I replaced mine with a Hynix P41 I had laying around. - The screen ONLY supports 60Hz or 240Hz and nothing between. This can make it hard to get good frame pacing in games even with G-Sync. After all that it's pretty decent. Good performance and battery life. Keyboard feels really good to type on. Just a lot of rough edges. Probably wouldn't recommend this unless you're fine with tinkering.

Amazing laptop! I had the g14 with older AMD chipset and the battery life was terrible. The new Chipset has insane battery life for a gaming laptop. I mainly use it for writing code and looking at stock market charts, writing algorithms. The AI is really good and pretty much writes the code for me. The screen and refresh rates makes scrolling code and articles look really smooth. It's so thin but because it's a little bigger chasis than others with the same specs, you'll notice not much heat compared to the others.

First, I love this type of design, light weight, clean lid with string of light. However, one bad thing for this computer, for every Asus Zephyrus g16 series in 2024, is that the ram is soldered on the board which you can't replace or upgrade your ram. Asus forces you to pay $200 more to upgrade your ram from 16g to 32g. I am not "rich" enough to do that. AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is new product this year so I can understand why it can have a higher price than other computer. Its performance is ok or high comparing to most of the cpus today, but it is the cpu sell with the top price. Price is always the biggest factor for people to consider. This laptop has unique design other laptops don't have. So in my opinion, it is a good computer to buy but not worth to buy now.

Unfortunately, I'm returning this tomorrow. I really wanted to like this computer. The hardware, specs, and weight were all spot on. Unfortunately, the wifi connection keeps failing. Everytime the laptop goes to sleep mode, it's unable to find any networks. I have to reboot it everytime for it to connect properly. I have checked all settings and drivers and was told to disable power saving on the wifi card but nothing solved the issue. I think the cheap Mediatek wifi card is the culprit and was told to replace it. I'm not going to open an brand new 2k laptop just to solve something that is supposed to be a basic functionality.

Some of the other reviews on these new laptops are bogus and don’t even make sense, you should only let verified purchases make reviews. I have a G14 Oled and its excellent, the ram is just fine, its the best gaming laptop I’ve ever owned, I can play cyberpunk with ray tracing on and get 60-90 fps in 2K. I have a hard time believing the G16 is much different. Absolutely thrilled with my G14, its so light and sleek and runs games like a champ. The screen is very bright and gorgeous. No issues.
