I have the cheapest and “budget” processor for these models but it does the job and have no regrets. Awesome display and capabilities.

Initially, it was quite finicky, likely due to the previous owner's usage. The fan stopped working within a month and had to be sent out for repairs. When it came back, it felt like new and was one of the best laptops I'd ever owned. Unfortunately, that only lasted two months before it failed again when I returned to school. I recently got a refund and decided to go for the AMD CPU model with a 5070. The 16GB RAM with a 4070 and 244Hz was overkill without sufficient memory—you really need at least 32GB for an Intel CPU. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. I have moved on to the older but younger brother, 2025 G14 120hz RTX5070

Only issue I have with it is that’s the 16gb they gave with this computer for the price you pay isn’t worth it. Also the computer eats ram horribly.

Amazing first gaming laptop

Graphics are amazing, frame rate is awesome, and super fast. Only downside is it heats up pretty quick but that seems normal for gaming laptops.

Great and disappointing

Yes, the screen is great and the audio is great. The power is adequate as well. The main problem is the RAM. And it’s not the obvious complaint of there only being 16 gb of RAM. it’s worse than that. So far I’ve only installed steam, the Xbox app and a few games. With no tabs open and nothing running, with the laptop at idle, around 9 gb of RAM are always in use. This leaves you with only 7 gb of RAM to try and run games with. I know there are things you can do to cut that down, but the problem is that in the task manager there are hundreds of tasks running at like 20 MBs and that makes up the vast majority of the applications that are using up all that RAM. There is no single application using up huge chunks of RAM that you can shut down to free up some memory. Aside from that major deal-breaking issue: it does run pretty hot after even just 5 minutes of gameplay. Gameplay that stutters constantly because you’re out of RAM, I should add. It seems manageable if the RAM wasn’t such an issue. Also, I should mention that the fans aren’t nearly as bad as some reviews and YouTubers have suggested. They are just normal sounding fans. Anyways, i think the laptop life just isn’t for me. Its too expensive for lesser performance and a smaller screen. Id rather just take the money I spent on this and put some of it into upgrading my pc and getting an oled panel while still having some money left over.

On the contrary, lots of satisfied customers, having positive experience using the product, will agree that this laptop will run popular games without compromising system stability and performance as long as Windows is up to date. The preinstalled 16GB RAM is adequate. Surely, upgrading the RAM size will enhance system performance.
It is normal that excessive heat is generated while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running
in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.
