Good Keyboard. One of the few laptops that can be used for gaming and a daily driver. The Minus: Gets extremely hot especially just above the keyboard. Since all the vents are at the back of the laptop cannot game on heat sensitive surface.

Absolute garbage for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you're looking to purchase this laptop with the intentions of gaming on it and using the 4070 to it's potential, I'd recommend you look else where. This laptop is absolute garbage for gaming and it gets HOT. I do not know why people are leaving 5 star reviews when complaining about the heating issue when it is a real problem. The laptop'c CPU runs at 93 celcus (just under 200F) for me and that's with a cooling pad when I try to play Assassins Creed Shadows, or Expedition 33 ON MEDIUM SETTINGS. When people say the laptop gets HOT, it gets HOT. It gets EXTREMELY hot to the touch and can burn you if you keep your touch the part of the laptop that heats up for more than a few seconds. The keyboard is essentiall unuseable when it is that hot. The laptop thermal throttles itself so you can barely play games on it without it stuttering. I followed other peoples advice on how to make this laptop useable and it is still thermal throttling. What's the point of having a powerful laptop if it throttles itself and becomes worse than cheap laptop with good ventilation?

The Reason you should Purchase an Asus

I have enjoyed many hours of gaming and other business on this computer. I am purchasing another because I like the way it operates either gaming or doing administrative work.

What a bummer! It isn’t mentioned anywhere on the Best Buy site, but according to the Asus website, it does come with an international warranty. Additionally, while idling, the laptop’s CPU temperatures reach 70°C, and during light gaming, the CPU temperatures climb to 90°C. During mid-heavy gaming (like RDR2 on high graphics settings), it gets extremely hot and stays between 96-97°C(if you put your fingers near macro buttons ur finger tipes feel like they burn), with the CPU usage around 40%. Moreover, videos on YouTube and other streaming platforms have a red/pink color tint.

The only downsides are: You can’t upgrade the memory. The battery life isn’t as good as it should be. After a watching a single 1hr and 42min movie, the battery charge went from 100 to 43 percent, this while in power saver mode.
