I sold my Mac as I like windows better than Mac and wanted to game as well . The g 16 is a beast it does everything I need while looking great doing so. The OLED screen is worth it it looks amazing.

The OLED is great but not in a very bright room. Power is fantastic, memory great, graphics card great, OLED great but not in a really bright sunroom.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just as the title suggests the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 is a powerful & sleek gaming package combined in one. Upon unboxing the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 you'll notice it's premium aluminum chassis colored in eclipse gray. Fingerprints are left to a minimum of not any at all when touching the surface of the laptop. The laptop lid has a "slash" lighting bar across the lid that is adjustable to display lights with different patterns although not RGB lights it gives it a more professional look that I prefer. The overall form factor is of the ROG Zephyrus G16 is slim with a 0.59" profile and weighs just a hair over 4 lbs. Light & portable for such a beast of a gaming laptop. Now the display is one of the best features I enjoy with this laptop. The Zephyrus G16 sports a 16" OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a refresh rate of 240Hz for buttery smooth video playback. In the graphics department this Zephyrus model comes equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 to suit all your gaming needs for all the latest titles out right now. The processor is an Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 1. As far as RAM you get 16GB & a 1TB SSD. As far as ports you get an HDMI, 2 x USB-A 3.2, 2 x USB-C 3.2 (one being a thunderbolt 4). The power brick that include is an average size brick and not a behemoth like you'd expect with most gaming laptops, but if I had a complaint and it's not big enough to be a deal breaker is the charging port is a proprietary plug, I'd rather it be USB C, again not major. Gaming wise I have have played several titles including Apex, CoD, Fortnite getting well above 100-120 fps with smooth playback. The display is quite enjoyable even when watching Netflix & other streaming platforms. Speakerwise Asus states the Zephyrus has 6 speakers with Dolby Atmos support, I think they are standard though they are loud and more upfront with their placement. I am mostly using a headset while using this laptop anyways. I was also pleasantly surprised with the fan noise as it wasn't as loud as I expected it to be & that has to do with the ROG intelligent cooling that features liquid metal and tri-fan technology. Overall I recommend the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 if you're looking for a laptop that can game, has a beautiful display & is a powerhouse for multitasking.

Kills any game I throw at it. Strongly recommend. It's also very slim and quiet when it needs to be. I use it in school to take notes. Best display I've ever seen.

Geek squad has been nice but useless to resolve my issue. My keyboard will freeze and I’ll get a usb isn’t recognized error fault and my keyboard won’t work. I travel with this laptop for work so I shut it down when I travel since it’ll heat up if I don’t. Whenever I turn it back on I have to uninstall then re-install the drivers and hope that fixes the issues. Which is a 50/50. I’ll be returning this laptop and getting a Mac. It’s not the most powerful but at least it works unlike this piece of garbage.
