Best Buy dropped the ball...

What came in the mail was a huge disappointment. The manufacturer's box was placed in a shipping box with no packaging, so it was sliding back and forth in the box throughout shipping. Inside of the manufacturer's box, half of the original packaging was missing, allowing the laptop to slam around in the box as well. No one went through any effort to properly protect the laptop for shipment. The laptop came with three dents in the aluminum casing and chipped edges. I realize I wasn't purchasing a brand new laptop, but this was far from "Excellent" condition. I was going to return it and buy it for the sale price, about $400 off, but store associates told me they could not honor the sale price since the sale had passed and no one offered any solutions. I'm sure the laptop is great, but I may recommend buying from somewhere else.

Good laptop, marred by one baffling design choice.

I had to use pliars to remove the screw because the metal was never designed to take the force required to break thread glue loose.

Let's talk about star ratings. 1 star is "poor" two is fair, three is average, four is good, and five is excellent. This is poor. You're buying a headache not an asset. A cool looking headache, with enticing features. OLED screen is cool, and Doom runs at 200 fps maxed out and it looks great. Updates and weird restarts. Remarkably hot running, I mean alarmingly hot. Needs to be avoided. Coulda been.
