No overheating issues. Plays most games at max graphics with no issues. Decent battery life but of course to unlock the benefits of the graphics card you have to be plugged in. Ray tracing causes some issues when turned on for some games but a slight drop in graphic settings and you are all set. ASUS has definitely brought me into the republic, and I will be going ROG from hear on out.

Great laptop

I was debating on this 4k one or the 1080 one with higher refresh rate because it came with the rtx2070. But went with the 4k because i edit photos with it and also game on it. You can set the game like fortnite to 1080p+ turn it down fron epic to high quality and it plays at 120fps steady no problem even though its a 60hz 4k screen. In 4k its like 40 to 60 fps bounces back and forth on epic settings. Only been about a month though we will see how it lasts.
