    Fantastic Laptop

I’ve been really enjoying using this laptop. I mainly use it for video and photo editing and the performance has been top notch. The 4K display is very color accurate out of the box and very detailed for editing high res photos. Everything is very snappy and renders and export times with the 2060 are great! The trackpad took a little getting used to - it’s maybe not quite as smooth as some others I’ve used before, but it’s still very usable. Keyboard feels great and the backlighting can be fun. Overall I have no major complaints with this laptop and would definitely recommend it as a media creation tool if you don’t need crazy good battery life. Value for the money is very good in my opinion.

Will handle just about anything, does get too hot if you do not vent it. Fans are very loud. Great size. Forget about battery life - nobody buys a gaming laptop for battery life anyways.

Very happy so far with the laptop. It’s fast and like the display. My son used it for games and told me it handles games pretty well. When used for gaming it can get hot, you hear the fans going but I guess it’s ok.

i needed a new laptop for college as i'm a game design major, and my previous one could not handle much of the programs i needed to use. this one functions much better, but i will say that the fan can get quite a bit noisy, and it burns quite hot. i bought a laptop cooler to help with it, so it isn't too much of an issue for me. the only other thing i think i should mention is that it doesn't not come with a camera if you need one for your online classes like me. overall great purchase, and i'm happy with it!

My previous gaming laptop is only 3 years old but when I saw this updated version of it with a 4K screen I knew I had to get it. the picture is gorgeous, graphics on all my games are always set to ultra. Only downside is the fans on this are loud. Also it has no web cam or sd card reader.

    BLOWN AWAY!

After reading many reviews and trying to find the best laptop for art, video editing and gaming, I finally chose the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M15. I have to say that I am absolutely blown away with the power and features that you get with this laptop. First off, the screen is absolutely beautiful! Being a content creator and an artist, I can see the differences between monitors, refresh rates and color representation. This 4K UHD monitor has perfect color representation and the claimed full Adobe color is true. I even tested it with a hardware monitor calibrator and verified. It is absolutely perfect. The screen is VERY bright and clear. I have a professional ASUS ProArt monitor specifically made for accurate graphic representation. The 4K UHD monitor on the laptop actually has better representation than the monitor that cost as much as this laptop! The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 is perfect for professional 3D graphics. I am using this laptop with Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, Maya and CAD programs for 3D printing. I have experienced ZERO slow downs while editing 4K video and ZERO slowdowns while processing very complex 3D renders. On the gaming side, I am running Cyberpunk 2077 on highest settings and getting over 60 FPS even when there is A LOT of action and multiple characters and models on screen. I have also tried it with DOOM Eternal and Microsoft Flight Simulator. I averaged 60-110 FPS in each game. This laptop is a processing POWERHOUSE! With the Intel Core i7-10750H Processor @ 2.6 GHz (12M Cache, up to 5.0 GHz, 6 cores), it can handle absolutely anything you throw at it. The fans and cooling system is very efficient and stays quiet most the time. I have been running Cinema 4D and rendering complex scenes and particle effects with the fans only barely audible. Even at full speed they are still not intrusive. I am still able to hear the speakers and with headphones one, it isn't even noticeable. The sound representation from the built in sound card is outstanding with headphones or studio reference monitors. The only downfall in my opinion are the built-in speakers. All speakers are down-firing so they always sound a bit muffled. Its not bad at all really but not as loud as I would expect. You do get a good rumble in the keyboard and table with the built in subwoofer. The speakers are good enough for most casual gaming or YouTube etc but I would recommend external speakers or headphones if you want to be immersed in your game. The RAM is decent at 16GB on board but you can expand it up to 48GB. I have been working so far with just the 16GB and have experienced no issues gaming or processing renderings. While using Adobe After Effects with a complex scene rendering, I could see spikes up to 48%-60% usage. The keyboard is great! The key travel is smooth and responsive. I can type full speed without trying to search for the keys. The keyboard has dedicated keys for volume up and down, mute and a special ROG key for settings. The keyboard is full RGB and you can choose what solid color you want, the level of illumination and different effects like pule, breath, flashing, etc. Some reviews say that the keyboard is all static and you can not choose color zones but that is incorrect. ASUS provides an application to setup RGB zones so you can color different sets of keys so you can easily find your shortcuts or hot keys. Over all this laptop is the best computing purchase I have made in a long time. I HIGHLY recommend this laptop to anyone who is looking for a very solid machine that is capable of literally anything! If you need a laptop...look no further!

I only bought this pc yesterday so this is just a small review for now. so far so good it’s 4k quality looks absolutely beautiful to the point where i watched a costa rica video on youtube and couldn’t tell the difference between it an real life. this is my first time owning a gaming computer just cause being little and not having parents with much money i was always stuck to 600$ options that couldn’t even handle minecraft. this computer handles the new star wars game beautifully. at medium settings capped at 60 fps with 4k uhd i’m definitely not dissatisfied. the only thing is the fan. now keep in mind i’ve never owned a gaming pc before so i literally called geek squad and was like “hey why does my computer sound like it’s raining” LOL they said it was completely normal for laptops especially because of the load for games which definitely makes sense it is a little hot but like i said i’ll update if i experience any overheating or issues along that line. other than that definitely worth the pretty penny i paid for it. i’ve had no issues playing any game so far with 0 lag spikes. on battery or plugged in i’ve been astonished. thanks asus i dig it.

This is my first gaming laptop I have purchased and it is replacing a Desktop. This laptop is well made and extremely fast. Its extra fast SSD drive boot much faster than my Desktop SSD drive. The couple of games I have played work well in 4K resolution. The lighted keyboard is nice and display any color and color changing patterns you set. While playing games in 4K, the cooling fan can get a little noisy, but when not playing in 4K the laptop is quieter than my old desktop. The laptop has a nice number of USB and other connection ports. The Case styling is looks good and the speakers produce nice sounding sounds for a laptop.

Ive had this laptop iver a year now and love it! It can run most games on high or even ultra settings except the absolute newest games. I recently upgraded the ram and added another m.2 ssd, despite what asus and other official sources say you can add more than a 16gb stick, I swapped the stock removable 8gb (the other 8gb is not removable) for a 32gb stick bringing me up to 40gb ram! Flight Simulator 2020, a very power hungry game, now runs much smoother after the upgrade, though im running in full hd (1080p) instead of 4k. I dont know that ANY 4k laptop could run FS2020 in 4K on ultra settings. Summary: GREAT LAPTOP!

Based on its price, this laptop is great. As a computer engineer, the graphics card, ram, ssd are awesome. The overall perfomance is satisfying. The weight is average, not too heavy, but also not too light. My only problem was it doesn't have a webcam. This sometimes be a problem in my tele-conferences. However, that is my least concern, I can live without a webcam.

I'm not a computer head or anything but I can see the quality of this laptop. Extremely quick running, the screen is top-notch (the 4k is almost too much when watching youtube). Not complaints there. Do be warned though that this laptop will heat up. I know it has been said in other reviews but if you do any gaming it will get hot. Buy an external fan if you plan on playing any modern games. But your experience on the modern games at the highest or nearly highest setting on this laptop will be well worth it!

Bought this laptop for playing ESO and Hell Let Loose connected to a 4k Gaming Monitor. The laptop runs great, but does get a bit hot. I would recommend purchasing this with a cooling mat to increase the life of the product. I bought a second ROG laptop so my wife and I could play at the same time, the build quality is that good. 10/10, would buy another ROG product.

Great screen. Don't let the specs fool you. It's plenty bright even at 300ish nits. 4K display is beautiful. Keyboard surface is very solid/sturdy with decent key travel. Trackpad is a little small compared to some. The black finish on the chassis is quite nice and doesn't show many fingerprints (Can't say the same for the touchpad). Lots of port options, though only one USB-C (if that matters to your needs). Thermal management is fine. Fans can be a little loud at full speed but seem to get the temperatures in check quickly. Only real complaint, the keyboard backlight would flash if it was asleep with the lid open. Easy fix in settings, but should be addressed. Also, CPU/GPU temps not monitored initially; had to remove and reinstall the Armoury Crate software. Price dropped an additional $135 after purchase, and BB online chat was able to quickly price adjust and refund the difference.

Had this for some years and still goes good as a daily just use a monitor for a deal setup with a cooler for the laptop. The battery dies fast and when it’s unplugged gaming gets choppy so I always keep the laptop plugged in. The laptop alone with the 4K screen might not be the most pleasing on some higher end games but that is why I just got a monitor to sort that out.

This laptop is great, it performs very well for all my needs. The screen is bright and vibrant, very accurate. Not too much light bleed. It’s well built and feels solid. Playing games like Doom Eternal was good but not great due to the 60hrz screen but is good enough. It’s laptop for anyone who want a laptop that can do everything you want on it, not just gaming, but you can at a good frame rate.

This laptop is amazing, the 4k display is bright and sharp and for gaming I use it mainly for VR Quest 2 and Call of Duty so no need for high refresh rates, the 60HZ works great. Runs quiet, and even on turbo mode it's not that bad to the point where it sounds loud or gets hot. If you game with a headphone and mic it'll be a complete no-issue also. This laptop is everything you need (and then some)! The graphics are beautiful and it is very user friendly. I can run all of my favorite games and more on this! I highly recommend this laptop to ANY gamer as it is amazing.

Great gaming laptop overall. I’ve never had an issue with Asus. My only problem is that the fan in performance mode is very very loud. Actually my 1st decent gaming laptop and that’s probably normal but I can’t believe it should be THAT loud. I use my beats to game so I don’t hear it…which is why I didn’t return it.
