Customers find value in the ROG Zephyrus M15's performance, especially for creative work and gaming, and its superb screen quality. Many appreciate its lightweight design and the fast SSD, although some note that the battery life could be improved. While the keyboard is well-received, heat and fan noise are recurring concerns for some users.

It was great for a little while. I didn’t get a protection plan, and it started overheating quite a bit. Fans are strong enough to cool it, thing is, it cools so quickly that it causes condensation, which in turn got the motherboard wet with condensation, which caused it to corrode. Lasted about 2 years. Little bit less.

I am surprised so many top tier hardwares were put into this machine. Great graphics, super fast drive and CPU, screen has awesome and in-depth coloring. Only downside is the refresh rate of the screen which doesn't go beyond 60hz, which you may want to keep in your mind if you are I ti that sort of thing. But, hey, at this price, I still consider this product a bargain. NICE JOB, Asus!

First of all I love ASUS and this is my third one. I purchased this one last minute when my old laptop puked. The 4k ultra HD has an awesome pic and screen color. I also love the lighted keyboard and the different colors instead of the normal yellow/white background. I did downsize on screen size, but even that turned out to be good too. Makes it lighter and easier to take with you when necessary. Depending on what your doing it holds the charge really long and will charge back up very quickly. All in all I would recommend

I've had this for almost 5 months now, and I have to say that it is a great computer. I upgraded from my old ROG laptop and so far is running great. The display is excellent. Just a bit noisy when it gets hot and the fans run at full.
The only BIG issue i have with it, is that the HDMI port is on the left hand side, when external monitors are used on the right hand side so, BIG deal for me since I edit a lot of photography and the cables are just on the way.

Exactly what I wanted. Handles any game I throw at it like a champ. To be fair though, I really only play apex, counter strike, destiny on it, so I couldn’t tell you how it would hold up to higher end games but thus far it’s great.
My girlfriend also uses it with her cintique (not sure if spelling right, it’s a drawing pad). The 4K screen at 100% rgb really is a plus for her.
The screen in non traditional for a gaming laptop but it’s honestly fantastic.

I didn't buy this laptop for gaming though it's capable. I bought it for work related purposes so I have a dedicated workstation for work-from-home situations yet I can bring it to the office if needed.
It has plenty of memory, 16 GB, and a 1 TB SSD. The screen is a crisp 4K and running office applications on it is easy, as is running the few games I've run on it so far. It's fast, handles my software development needs, and is sleek and easy to carry around.

Moving over to ASUS from MSI the first thing that caught my attention was the quality of the build. The fact that ASUS has maintained the size/weight while including the quality specs is a fantastic balance. Additionally, I went ahead and played the RE:8 has an immediate benchmark for the laptop, and ran it smoothly with only moderate fan noise. Overall, I'd recommend this for anyone who likes to game on the move.

I'm running 2 external monitors with it, trading stocks- so lot's of real time charts. I can also visit other websites at the same time as well.
It's very fast. Under 3 minutes to do a full scan.
Watching movies online gives a very clear picture.
I was surprised to see my "Favorites List" was transferred over to the new computer without me having top do anything.
I am very happy with this laptop.

I have had this laptop for about a month, and it runs incredibly smoothly and beautifully. I use it for both school and gaming, and I have had no issues. I can run Valorant, Overwatch, Paladins, Roblox, Minecraft, etc with both Discord and Spotify in the background. It does run hot, so I do recommend having a cooling mat of some sort. Otherwise, it is amazing for the price.

My daughter's 5 year old Alienware bit the dust, and this ROG PC is the perfect replacement. Large SSD, 4K screen, RTX 2060 is decent, and it's small, especially when compared to her former 17" Alienware. With classes going online, and a need to place graphic intensive games, this was perfect for her. Doesn't include a camera, so you'll need to spring for an external camera for things like Zoom.

You really get what you pay for with this. Amazing graphics, 60fps gameplay on witcher 3 with no issues. My only complaint is that this thing gets hot quick! But since I bought a cooling pad for it, the laptop runs a few degrees cooler because of it. The battery life is pretty short when playing games but thats normal for these types of laptops.
Perfect buy for people with intermediate computer experience.

Fast, reliable laptop. I got this primarily for editing photos and graphics. It boots up quickly and has plenty of power for doing what I need to do. The 4K screen is amazing for editing my photos and graphics. I’ve had this computer for almost a year and it still works great. Very pleased. I do wish it had better battery life.

This laptop was a gift for the wife, she loves it, incredibly quick opening and closing apps, fast startup, beautiful and bright 4K screen.
Her game of choice, is Star Wars, Old Republic, and it plays it flawlessly, nearly maxed out on all video settings it doesn't struggle at all.
Not to mention, movies and videos look incredible.
I highly recommend

I am very happy with this laptop. Everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Every game I've run on it so far (Valorant, Minecraft, League, GTA, Warzone) has held steady at over 200 FPS. It can get a little loud and hot when you are playing on it for a while, but it is worth it for its performance. I have only had it for less than a month, but I already love it.

A fast machine. This is my second ASUS. I honestly don't understand how or why it is so much faster. I've returned 2 X Dell computers and 1 X HP because they were so slow . . . right out of the box. This one screams! I was disappointed it doesn't come with a webcam - surprised more than anything - but for the speed . . . I'm good with that.

Awesome machine! First gaming laptop i purchased, i wasn´t really convinced of buying one, but definitely a great decision! Great laptop, fast, no problem in running any game, only problem is it gets a little hot while gaming, but you can customized the settings for you to get cooler results.

Armoury Crate is the biggest downside

I bought this lap top for music and video editing as well as for some light game. I have no complaint about the build quality, display quality and connectivity. BUT BE WARE if you want to use Thunderbolt audio interface on this laptop.
I am using Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Duo audio interface and get constant pops, cracks and distortions. Though I finally find kind of solutions and get it working. But it only works when you connect the power adapter.
To be short, when you switch to "Turbo" or "Manual" mode in the buggy bloatware Armoury Crate. Namely, you disabled all power-saving features and let your laptop run in full-speed. All pops, cracks and distortions disappear. Once you switch to other mode like Silent, Performance or Windows, you get insane noise and distortion all the time. And once you unplug the power cord and run in battery, YOU CAN'T switch to Turbo or Manual mode anymore.
On a regular windows desktop or laptop, you can customize these power-saving features like Intel SpeedStep, GPU behaviors in Windows Power Plan (I learned these in the time when I was using old-school Firewire Audio Interface). But on Asus laptops, Armoury Crate takes total control of Power Plan over windows. You can't customize these features in Windows control panel anymore. While in Amoury Crate, literally you can't change anything in these modes, you can't figure out what exactly caused those pops and cracks. What's even more, Armoury Crate is BAKED in the hardware. I format the hard drive and installed a clean Windows 10 and I still can't access these controls in Windows Control Panel and I saw "Asus Armoury Crate" in windows device manager!
On a desktop, you can also disable things like SpeedStep in the Bios, but on this laptop, you don't have any options in the bios. So I have no way but to let laptop run in "manual" mode (ironically, you can basically change nothing in this mode).
Other Cons I think should be mentioned include:
When I connect my Apollo Twin to the TB3 port, the laptop will notify me that I am using a slow USB charger. (so my audio interface is CHARGING my laptop, funny?) Thus there will be a warning icon in the taskbar constantly
The response time of the display is rather slow, there is noticeable ghosting even in some fast pacing video. I think it is not good for FPS players.
So I think the Armoury Crate is THE BIGGEST problem of this laptop. But if you don’t use Thunderbolt Audio Interface (I believe most will use it on Mac). It won’t bother you. I will buy a Thunderbolt 3 Dock to see if I could get a perfect solution. Or I have to return either the laptop or the audio interface.
