Customers are saying

Customers admire the ROG Zephyrus M15's performance, graphics capabilities, and long battery life. Many appreciate its lightweight design, comfortable keyboard, and ease of use, finding it a good value for the price. However, some users note that the fan noise and heat generation could be improved, and the lack of a built-in camera is a common point of feedback. Storage capacity is also mentioned as an area for potential improvement by some users.

Great for a work or school laptop while playing games well with it's medium range power. The 1660 Ti is a capable card! 144hz screen, liquid metal thermal paste, wifi 6, and a Thunderbolt port! 1920 x 1080, just a small step below 4k! Pros - Light weight (easily one handed] - Good at keeping itself cool in ideal atmospheres (i.e not in a room hot room) - Beautiful display, 144hz capable - Good battery life for just web browsing a mild work - Sturdy and strong aluminium design - Beautiful sounding high resolution audio - The fans are strong and very capable of stopping overheating, efficient airflow design Cons - CPU/GPU runs around 60⁰c, 70/80⁰c underload but effective at keeping from exceeding 90-100⁰c - Fans are loud under load - Too small for a traditional SSD/HDD, can only fit NVMe SSD by replacing the one inside - Recommended to use a external storage device - One of the 8/16 Rams inside is fixed into the motherboard, leaving only one removable If the Cons don't not bother you, this laptop is 100% perfect!!!

Great computer, I built my personal desktop, I would rate that at a low high-end computer. That being said, I expect a lot from my computers when gaming. I bought this computer for on the road gaming and general use like internet browsing, email, and word processing. Start off with the looks, it looks good, simple, not too outspoken. I wouldn't be self conscious if I brought it to a meeting kind of simple. The keyboard feels better than most laptops and not too much wasted space on the form factor. It isn't heavy and important to me, the lid when opening can be done with one hand meaning the balance of the laptop is solid. On the flip side the charging brick is huge and possibly heavier than the computer. Also, when are windows laptop manufacturers going to use magsafe charge ports? I don't know about you but my dog punting the computer across the room via the charging cable is not the start to a good day for anyone. The box that it came in was fancy, like... really fancy... like the laptop rose up when the box was opened fancy. Nice touch Asus nice.... Now the performance. The first one I received had a defective screen so it was quickly replaced with the current one. I said it was hot. This sucker is hot for sure, like GPU and CPU temps at 85+ hot. It is completely expected with the size of the case for these temps to be up there. Get a cooling mat and don't expect to play with this on your blanket in bed. I can play WOW at 1080 with the sliders to the right at 80 fps average with drops to 50 randomly. I can play Squad at 1080 sliders to the right at 70 which is a CPU heavy game as well as GPU. It is snappy out of the box and the SSD provides for that. It is a decent computer, the price is what drew me to it. To be honest I am a huge fan of the computer and glad I purchased it. The only thing that an draw this system back is the lack of space on the SSD due to games like COD Warzone that is 215GB, 512GB of storage is becoming obsolete. This can be solved in a couple of ways and they all include spending more money (external drive, or swap the m.2 drive for something larger and reinstall windows) so... there you go. If you're looking at the reviews to sway you and make your mind up or you then I hope this helps. I would take a 1660ti over a RTX 2060 any day due to the performance drop that RTX does anyway you wont need the RTX factor of the 2060 and the cost to performance value seems to be negligible.

Easy to upgrade and add SSD, ram wouldn’t touch...dual channel would go away if you do 24gb upgrade. Good enough batter life 6+ hours. FPS: LoL is great. D3 is ok and wow is also ok. Heat is a problem. But all the slim line laptops have the same issue. Razer and msi etc, loud aft the 2070max-q version with 240hz panel kept freezing up on me during high intensity moments in games. (Updates bios and drivers) Ended up returning it. The fan are loud during game play, can be adjusted with silent mode you’ll lose FPS tho.

There wasn't a lot of reviews on Youtube , or least one I relied on, so I was a bit iffy about getting this particular model. However, I gave it a try and MAN, I don't regret buying this. Although this is very much like the other ASUS laptops, it has an Intel chip. I know, AMD these days are crushing Intel, but despite this, it is a very good laptop overall. The only problem I have with this laptop is the heat. When gaming, it gets toasty. But it's not a problem because it does not get hot at all where you will be placing your hands on when gaming. The keyboard is nice and the track pad is good. The screen is fast and color accurate. The design is very muted, so I can take it to class without people thinking I'm a hardcore gamer. All in all, this laptop is perfect for gamers of all types, and is muted enough to be brought to work.

For a person who loves gaming, this is a perfect first-time computer. But you must be ready for what you're paying for. The first thing is that the fans will be loud, the design of a laptop makes it so all the goodies inside are crammed together. That is why PC's are open inside so you won't hear the noises of your fans. Well, this you can hear your fans and be prepared with a headset that noise cancels. The next notable thing is the frames or fps, trust me when I say that this device will cap to 30 fps if it's not plugged in and running turbo mode. That is only if the games you wish to play are highly demanding. The 2nd to the last thing is the storage, WHY IS STORAGE AN SSD? I mean booting up windows and games makes it faster but that's not a lot of space at all. The final thing is the cores and threads. Doesn't mention how many, but technically your system can run 6 cores. It is automatically put to one so you will have to go into system configuration and put it to 6 and restart the computer. Don't be surprised about the heat cause remember, this laptop is holding a lot with a slim design. Overall, the quality is beautiful, I got mine at $999 and that is very worth it, the only thing that can be seen concerning is the storage. Remember what your paying for ladies and gents.

I haven't tested it with any really heavy gaming, mostly just the Sims 4 on the highest settings. It works great, but it's a little loud, unless you use headphones. I would recommend getting a cooling pad for it too. I'm sure it would run most games very smoothly, and it makes me want to try out more intensive gaming on this thing. It could handle it. The graphics are great and the customizability is awesome- I love the rgb keyboard. This laptop is nicely portable and isn't too flashy, but has just the right amount of oomph. I can easily do all my college work in this and go straight into a game afterwards lol

So far I'm really enjoying this laptop. Previously owned a lenovo y740 and although a great laptop, it was too large and the wifi kept dropping for some reason. Returned that and got an MSI GS75 which is a monster. Too big for me and I didn't really like the design. Now this... this is a clean laptop. The price is terrific, RGB lighting is bright and I play warzone no problem on highest settings and it's still not as loud as the MSI ge75. I really like this laptop, the lack of a webcam is easily overcome with plugging in a smart phone (or even via wifi) and downloading the appropriate apps on both your phone and PC. The only thing I'm not crazy about so far is the screen, although I'm just being nit picky at this point. Terrific unit. I hope it ends up being reliable and so far I'm pretty sure this will suffice for my personal needs. Bought an external 1TB HDD for some games/media and I honestly think I'm set. I finally think I've found the one. Thank you Asus.

Got it on sale and it is a great 1660Ti Laptop. Owned it for 2 years and except for a battery replacement (under warranty) it has been a solid laptop. The screen is the only downside because the color accuracy isn't great. Battery life isn't great either as other Intel gaming laptops of this generation. Still manage to get 4-5 hours for light use. The cooling system has been great so far and manages to keep temperatures in control. It can get loud however during intense games or running some simulations and Virtual machines.

I've had it for a few days now and so far, I love it! I was hesitant about buying this, but read the reviews (which were surprisingly good) and decided to pull the trigger. The price was a little higher than I wanted to spend, but as I see now, worth it. Nice and light, and this little laptop is a beast when it comes to running games at the highest settings. If you're looking for a great gaming laptop for a decent price, look no further.

Surprise end of school present for our teenage son, so I did the research myself. Glad this is where we landed. Definitely a mid-range gaming laptop with tech in the low to middle performance arena. Powerful, easy to use, and runs all the games that he wants to play. The fans are LOUD, but once he has his earphones on and turned up he said he can’t hear it. But it is seriously loud. Only complaint he has about it.

As a graphic designer with a very heavy workload was difficult to find a device that was everything I needed! This computer was next to perfect! After months of research and going back and forth reading reviews - I decided on going with this gaming computer because of the sheer power it packs - this baby runs all my design programs so fluidly and SILENTLY! The two cons that I have faced are that it doesn’t have a webcam (didn’t think of that til I needed one! - oops!) and also the keyboard not having the number pad has made things a little bit more challenging - but I’m adjusting. All in all - I definitely recommend!

This laptop was the only one I could find that had the items needed for school that wasn’t going to break me in the bank. Super glad I purchased this one. Price was ok. Super fast. Keyboard lights up which is a nice feature. ESP for the late night papers. Lots of storage. I haven’t tried out games yet. Will let my son try it once school is over. Excellent purchase.

Disclaimer: This is my first gaming laptop/pc so I don't have much to compare to, this laptop could be hot garbage but I wouldn't know. Also, I'm pretty ignorant of gaming laptop's norms so take my review with a grain of salt. My previous laptop was a $400 HP that could barely run Happy Wheels, so that's where I'm coming from. Review: I'm more pleased with this laptop. After about a month of ownership, this ASUS has been an awesome purchase for me. I bought this laptop during BestBuy's version of prime day for around $1000, so at that price, I definitely think it was worth it. I'm a construction management student and this thing has been able to run all the programs (AutoCAD) I've thrown at it with flying colors <selling point to the parents>. Gaming on this laptop is great, but it does put off a lot of heat (idk if that's a bad thing or just a gaming laptop thing). With the whole pandemic and zoom classes/meetings being a common thing now, my only gripe with this laptop is that it doesn't have a built-in webcam :/ It being 2021, I figured every laptop would have that. I know that I can always just buy a cheap external webcam, but just from convenience, I wish it had one. Wrapping up this review, This laptop is sick and I would definitely recommend buying one.

This is a great laptop! I played Metro Exodus and several other games and they all run very smoothly. Plus the 144hz makes the games even more smoother. This is also compatible with the RIFT S but you may need a USB C Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort adapter. I'd perfer a better graphics card to play VR with however. I haven't upgraded the laptop. The keyboard feels great! The material is very nice and smooth. No number keypads however. Another thing that I didn't like is that the fan is very loud and it gets very very hot. I wouldn't recommend putting this on your bare lap.. I have no problem with the fan because I use headphones. When you start the laptop you have several programs to overclock your GPU and get better performance, you also are able to change the RGB on the keyboard with several patterns, even one that allows you to sync the RGB to music which is very cool. If the thunderbolt uses the Intergrated GPU, there was a program that allowed me to change it to use the GPU for VR. The storage is low, but very fast download speeds. I was able to download GTA 5 in 30 minutes with my internet one time. Even though it's 500 gb, you can hook up an portable storage device to make up to it.

Fantastic gaming computer. It's also incredibly fast for anything in general you would need it for. As a student, it has been incredibly fast loading websites and assignments. This laptop boots up fast! After the initial startup with every normal computer I was expecting to be waiting 5 - 10 minutes long - I was mistaken this laptop had everything started up in less than 20 seconds, the RGB keyboard can change to many different styles like strobing, pulsing etc, I use strobing because I can use two different colors. It can run Ark: Survival evolved on epic settings but it does get hot FAST a cooling pad under it would be smart. My only complaint is that it has so little storage for all my games. But for the price I couldn’t beat it I’m satisfied with this and plan to be for a very very long time.
