Customers admire the ROG Zephyrus M15's performance, graphics capabilities, and long battery life. Many appreciate its lightweight design, comfortable keyboard, and ease of use, finding it a good value for the price. However, some users note that the fan noise and heat generation could be improved, and the lack of a built-in camera is a common point of feedback. Storage capacity is also mentioned as an area for potential improvement by some users.

Really great entry level gaming computer, she does run a little hot when playing heavy games but with a good cooling pad that’s not a problem at all! The 144hz display is a must when it comes to FPS so it’s fantastic. I really like the build quality and the RGB keyboard as well. 2nd NVME slot is also great.

Just got this yesterday and am already in love with it. The system boots up in mere seconds (thanks to SSD) and programs al run together flawlessly. It’s a little noisy and gets warm, but that’s to be expected given the thinness of the whole thing. Overall, great purchase if you are in the market for a mid-range gaming laptop.

The laptop that I got was the best one I ever had. I went from an old dinosaur laptop that my mm passed down to me and I was sooo excited for this new one. When I got it, I did have some slight issues but over all. The laptop was amazing, had good storage and amazing graphics for my games

I love this PC. It works great for games can run flight simulator on ultra settings. My only complaint like mentioned In other reviews it runs hot. I don’t mind since I usually use on a desk but the fan keeping it cool is loud. Not a major issue but a bit annoying.m, but decent trade off for so much power.

Best computer I've ever had. It can run all my high demanding games with ease and is super easy to use for work and school. This computer looks really cool and high-tech and is built very well. Overall, if your debating on getting this computer, definitely do so. Worth every cent.

Great machine, lighting fast and has devoured games on high/ultra settings and the 144hz makes is oh so buttery smooth!
Minimalist design, very sturdy and well built, super happy with it!
It does get hot so don't expect to game while its in your lap unless you have a cooling tray.

This is my first installment of reviews for this Zephyrus with the 10750, 16GB of Ram, and the 1660ti.
I received it today and was pleased with the packaging quality, it was boxed in a brown cardboard box around the actual laptop box, which was nice.
I got everything unpacked and charged the laptop, it states to charge the battery for 3 hours before turning it on, so be ready to hold your excitement in for a little bit before turning it on.
The build quality feels really good and sturdy to me, and while it is dense, it's not overly heavy for a gaming laptop. In fact the bezel for the screen is so thin that I thought maybe I got the wrong size screen at first glance.
The color quality of the screen is awesome, and the 144hz is very nice and more than sufficient for the 1660ti, I was sticking around 122hz on epic settings on Fortnite, very butter smooth. I have to say it again, the color is amazing on this screen.
The speakers sound very good for a laptop, you can hear a little low end and that makes a huge difference if you're used to those treble/tin-can sounding speakers.
Multi-tasking is great with this, the SSD is an Intel NVMe SSDPEKNW512G8 if you were interested, I know I was wondering what drive would be in it.
The keyboard is responsive and sturdy for a laptop, I am a programmer, so that is important to me. Also the home and end keys are nicely their own keys. The touchpad responds nicely, my right click is clicky, my left click is not, I'm not sure if that's by design because everywhere is a right click besides the left click "button", so a little different, but completely not an issue at all.
The fans are not super loud if you're used to gaming laptops, obviously if this is your first gaming laptop, you're going to be suprised, but it really is quiet for a gaming laptop.
Temps under load stayed low, usually 55-60 on both CPU and GPU, with a top range of about 75, pretty dang good for a thin form factor laptop.
Overall first impressions are very good and I am more than satisfied with this purchase. To give a quick reference point, I work on a desktop with a liquid cooled 9700k, 32GB Ram, and a Vega 64, and my gaming experience is pretty similar.
This laptop is replacing an older ASUS TUF book with a 1050 because I needed a little more while on the road for VMs, IDEs, and a plethora of gaming services.
I considered the Razer Blade 15, MSI stealth G65 and Y540's, I considered the 2-3k range of the Blade and Stealth very seriously, and then decided that this would be more than enough to last for a few years.
Could you buy a "better" laptop? Sure.
Should you buy a "better" laptop? Probably not.
I think this is a good bit above the entry level gaming laptop and you won't regret the purchase. It's a powerful device and feels good, save the money and get yourself some new games to play on it, trust me.
I will come back and give updates after I've spent more time with it and review the longevity.

decent gaming laptop works well with most games with little to no problems, when competitive gaming on MMO'S with multiple apps running you might experience some lag due to processing power not fast enough but if you are not big into game you will have no issues great speed, easy to customize.

Dislikes:
-I know a laptop GPU isn't as good as a desktop one, but I was pretty underwhelmed by the performance
-I know you should always get a cooling pad for your gaming laptop (which I did), but I felt like it got too loud when even doing simple tasks such as web browsing. I doubt I'll buy a gaming laptop again in the future, but if I do, I'll make sure it isn't too slim.
-Unless I'm misunderstanding something, I don't think closing the lid actually puts the laptop to sleep. I would still hear the fan

An amazing computer has great performance on titles such as Destiny 2 and Gears of War 5. My only complaint is very loud fans. I would definitely spring for the 2080 ti rather than this model. Also, the lack of a camera doesn't help its case either.

Replacing an older Toshiba Satellite. This computer was epic. It holds its charge longer, runs faser, and the screen colors are vibrant. The color-changing keyboard is pretty great too. This is a step up from the older Toshiba in nearly every way.

I bought this laptop for one reason--I needed it for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and I didn't want spend too much on a gaming computer. MFS 2020 runs great on this laptop. The HD display is beautiful. Of course it works very well as a regular PC. Python/Pycharm runs much faster on my ROG than it does on my older Acer laptop. The sound is amazing for Spotify and you-tube. The only con is the ROG runs hot. It got pretty with the hours long MFS download during an already hot day. lol.

My 17 year old wanted a gaming system and this one was in his budget as well as had good specs for the price and he’s not disappointed. It’s quick and he can use shaders. He’s really happy with it. One of his friends has a gaming laptop with similar specs but with the RTX graphics card. They play side by side and this laptop keeps up with it and it is quieter with a longer battery life. You do notice a difference in the graphics but my son says he’s likes the one he has. It’s an awesome laptop for the money and miles better than the non gaming laptop he had before. I have a business laptop and after I saw his perform, I think this would make a great laptop for anyone! It’s a very good value. We did get it on sale.

I got this for my little brother for school. He is studying architecture and he needs a laptop that can handle a lot of heavy programs. We had a friend that has a Dell and was having a terrible experience with it, so we went with the Asus. It has been great so far. The only thing that he does not like is that it does not have an included webcam. He needs one for some of his meetings, so having to buy one and carry one and having to connect it is annoying to him sometimes.....but other than that, great laptop!

A cool Laptop, the price isnt to bad IF you get it used. Now, only thing I'd advise you to do is get some sort of geeksquad plan if you reqlly get down on gaming. It sits very low tonthe surface so you dont much of gap between the fans and surface. Ive only used it for movies and photo editing, it has a feture where if you load up a photo and for example its under exposed, it'll add a bit of brightness to it. Im trying to find a way to disable that lol.
I've also noticed that I see this laptop at different beat buys in the open box cages. If you want something with a little performance under $1000 this isnt to bad. I believe theres a 2nd model ovwr this one that has the real good stuff.

I've had this laptop for a month now and use it as my work computer, and it's a workhorse. It boots up in 10 seconds and remains stable all day. I love that it has 3 USB ports--I use one for my Bluetooth mouse, one for my external 27" monitor, and the 3rd for oddball things like an HD camera, Bluetooth speaker, CD player, etc. This laptop is a gaming laptop, so it does not come with a built-in camera but I prefer my external camera anyway. It has a headphone jack separate from the mic jack, an HDMI jack and even an ethernet port. The graphics are excellent--crystal clear. I also love the backlit keyboard, especially since I often work early in the morning or late into the evening. Great buy!

When first opening the box you are greeted to the laptop coming up towards you which made much easier to take right out. Made it seem like Asus put thought into the packaging, which is a theme here.
Setting up the laptop was really easy with only having to plug it in and wait a bit to charge up, just sign into Microsoft and that's it. I had the computer up and fully running in only about 30 mins of after opening it.
Build quality feels excellent with the matte, metal body. The keyboard also feels great with plenty of RGB options if your into that. No number pad but with the layout of the keyboard it's not missed.
And performance was impressive. With the 144hz panel I could run CSGO and Destiny 2 at max settings and both would hang around the 130 fps range. Fan noise for a laptop wasn't too bad either. If you use headphones then it won't be a problem at all.
Overall that laptop felt great in every category. It didn't feel like they had to compromise anything to get the performance. It's just good.
