Asus makes a premium product and I have used these routers for many years. The RT-AX58U provides top speed and configuration for whatever application you use it. I currently have 1Gbps fiber and it tests out to the maximum with a wide coverage area. I would recommend this router to anyone that wants a complete experience with speed, security and reliability.

These routers are the best! Ditch the stock one that the internet providers give you and get this one. Love the speed, ease of use, look and distance I get. But even more, love the app management to see/control what devices are connected, status of internet and so much more.

The Asus AX3000 router is a great value. I'm getting consistent signal across an 1800sqft house, and even in the surrounding yard. Asus is one of, if not the only companies that actually provides access to web security, and parental controls without charging extra as well. Netgear, Linksys, and others charge monthly fees for tools and functions that come baked into this, and other Asus routers. I only have a single device that supports Wifi 6, so that wasn't a huge reason for this purchase, but one of my favorite features is the ability to see granular details about data usage on my internet connection (has a bandwidth cap), down to the individual device, and even the application/connection type, on an hourly, daily, and monthly basis. This has helped me to track data use for "rogue" devices (turns out it's just my son tearing up youtube). This device also allows you to build your own mesh wifi system by adding additional Asus routers to your existing system if need be. This router though has vastly higher output range than any one piece of a mesh system. Add one or more extra routers and you could have coverage for some truly massive homes. Highly recommended.

Thrilled with my purchase of the ASUS AX3000 WiFi 6 router! Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly interface and clear instructions. The WiFi coverage and speed are exceptional, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout my home, even in areas where signal used to drop. What truly sets this router apart is its lifetime internet security feature, offering peace of mind against online threats without any subscription fees. With reliable performance and top-notch security, this router is a game-changer. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking reliable, high-speed internet and robust security for their network.

Well, I've only had this setup for the weekend but so far it's been working great. I had an older TP-Link router which I loved but recently I started having some wireless issues and was not sure if it was the router or not so I decided to replace it. First, we tried a used google mesh router which worked very well overall but for games, we noticed our ping was slower than the TP-link so I decided to go to the store to see what they had. Best buy shelves were sparse but this unit caught my eye. It seemed to have most of the new features that could be found in many of the new routers. Bestbuy didn't have any tplink gaming models so I opted for this one. We've been using it for a solid weekend now, Everything has set up fine. I set up the Dynamic QoS for gaming and so far we are getting slightly better pings than our old Tplink router. We don't have crazy fast internet but overall I can definitely notice a difference. Shows on tv go to 4k faster and overall the router has performed without any oddities. I love the app, it's not as slick as the google wifi app from my other router but it has way more features. Overall I have zero complaints and would recommend for sure to anyone looking to save some money and buy this quality router.

Solid router for smaller homes/apartments. This purchase was an upgrade from the ASUS Cube. My Iphone 11 (and now 12) absolutely fly on WiFi 6. We have 2 MacBooks 3 Chrome Books (kids school) and several smart devices and this little beast doesn’t even hesitate to deliver excellent speeds. ISP-Spectrum 400 Modem - Arris SB8200

I bought this under an emergency situation when my NetGear NightHawk decided to pull an Amber Heard. Price was pretty good especially for the level of functionality you get. Very easy to set up. Longer range than I was expecting. Managing it via webinterface vs the app took a little bit to find but once I did and got it set up I was able to configure my network how I like it. I work in IT Infrastructure for my day job so I have gained a few preferences for how I want my home network to be. I was able to make those adjustments and settings with minimal fuss in the AX3000. I have always loved ASUS computers and monitors...now I can add WAP/Routers to the list of excellent items they make.

This is a really great router with excellent speeds and range. I tried 3 other routers and ended up keeping this one because the others did not have the range, speed or easy setup. It also has a nice form factor and size. Highly recommended!

Had this for about a week. So far so good. Had a little trouble at first getting it to have a internet connection after connecting it to the modem but after a couple of resets of both devices it worked. App was a little iffy for the set up part but got it work on the third try. Lot's of different settings and what not; still need to go through it all and figure out what I want to turn on/off or set it to. Great range and super fast.

    Best AX3000 WiFi 6 Router

I’ve used a couple of different Wifi6 routers including Netgear AX4, TP-Link AX3000 and the Netgear Nighthawk Mesh AX1800 system. The Asus AX58U is far superior to than any of them. Rock solid WiFi covers 2000 sq. ft. easily, easy setup with the Asus app or web GUI. You can stream on a number of different devices at the same time with no buffering or slowdowns. AX devices (Apple iPhone 11s and Windows 10 laptop) are screaming fast. N and AC clients run perfectly. Full ISP speeds pretty much everywhere with no dead spots. Latest firmware update from Asus from a couple of weeks ago really got everything working smoothly. If you’re looking for a new AX3000 WiFi 6 router this is easily the best of the lot. Stable, solid fast WiFi, good range without any issues, highly recommended.

This is working very well. It's much better than the one built into the cable modem. I have about a 2800 square foot house and this is plenty just one of them. It is reliable and it has AX on both 2.4 and 5 gigahertz. The price is great too excellent value. Having the external antennas really helps too.

It has a strong range for to be used in an apartment where it is one story and does not need that much hardware to use it. As long as your internet provider has strong WiFi to your home, you can have great WiFi speeds. Also, you have the option to have 2 separate networks where one is regular, slower speed and the other is the fastest. You can connect your ethernet cable to the modem and have a stronger connection to the internet. Downside is that you need to download the app prior before setting up your WiFi.

We are a family of 4 that’s constantly online for work, school and downtime. We also have a gamer and stream our tv cable. Before we got this router, we had horrible connections throughout the house and always dropping signals. Now we always have great coverage and great speed. East set up too

    Another solid Asus Router

This is the second Asus AX3000 router I have purchased (installed one for my parents and one at home). It replaces a Netgear Nighthawk which was having signal issues. I have found Asus products (routers, laptops, etc) to be very solid and reliable performers. The interface firmware with the Asus seems to offer more festures than the Nighthawk however it takes more steps to do simple tasks like monitor signal speed. Overall setup was pretty simple with multiple ways to access the router. The signal strength has been excellent and while it does have a mesh capability I have not even though about adding on. I really like the size, it is half the size of my old Nighthawk and the lights are smaller but still easy to read. I am not a gamer but am a wirecutter; this router has been up the the task of multiple, simultaneous streams of movie and general use without issue.

Century Link Fiber (CLF) Compatible with Adtran 411 ONT here in SW Florida. CLF installed with C3000Z modem. I disconnected modem attached cable from ONT directly to WAN. Ran Asus setup. Selected Auto IP config. All works like a charm down and up streams are as expected. I had several Asus routers over the years and all have been extremely reliable with a easy to navigate bios. Tons of documentation out there when help is needed. With Asus AI-Mesh it was simple to add my other Asus modem on the other side of the house for seamless WiFi transitioning. WIFI 6 is a plus but and unexpected bump in WIFI range is appreciated with this unit. Bottom line this has got to be a best bang for the buck because it is better than my ROG GT AC5300 which now paired with it (Mesh) and I paid more for it. Smaller foot print and good looks is nice too. Highly recommended IMHO
