||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a first gen google wifi router. This asus unit was easy to set up and carries strong signal that is way faster. Also great that you get lifetime security built into the router itself.

ASUS AX3000 Dual Band Router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is much faster than the rental router from my internet service provider just 1 year ago. So far, zero drops which is what motivated me shop. Awesome router at a reasonable price point. My devices all connected fine based on their capability (5GHz or 2.4)

Did exactly what I needed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extended the WiFi range across my whole apartment and was super simple to set up. Have seen a noticeable increase in stability and speed even when on the opposite side of the home or outside on the patio.

ASUS RT-AX58U router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a 4 bedroom, 1111sq ft apartment. The range and strength of the signal is consistent throughout the apartment. The added Life time internet security is an added bonus. In today's environment of hackers and security breaches having some extra protection to my privacy is a welcomed feature.

Very happy with this purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my aging TP-Link Archer C7 which I had great success with (and would still recommend for non-AX usage). Setup was extremely easy using the mobile app. Was up and running within 5 minutes. There were a couple settings I had to tweak using the web interface (which was also easy to use). Mainly to put it in 'Access Point' mode since I want my cable modem providing the IP addresses. The signal strength compared to the C7 is much improved. It it centrally located and I'm seeing strong signals throughout my home. I'm getting near-wired speeds from my AX devices. I also like that it's using Asuswrt. Firmware updates are quite frequent to help maintain a safe environment. And these updates can be checked/updated using the mobile app. Love it! Overall, I think this is an amazing mid-range AX router. Very pleased with its performance.

Two thumbs up...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My router is located in an office/bedroom in our house. I have a 500gbs internet plan and with my old router, speeds had dropped to around 200mbs in our living room etc. My previous router was a Netgear that had served us well. After reading many reviews here and on other sites, I decided to give the ASUS-AX3000 a try. Having only a moderate knowledge of router particulars, set-up went easily and smoothly. I am now getting 500 mbs plus throughout our modestly sized home. I've been using the r outer for 2 weeks now with no problems and no disconnects etc. Two thumbs up from me!

ASUS brand Wireless Dual Band WiFi-6 Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pay Spectrum for 200Mbps Internet connection, but was getting only 70 to 120Mbps service. After several calls to the ISP for help, I accepted the fact that maybe my equipment was the problem. So, I started rebuilding my setup, and decided to go with the new 802.11ax standard. I replaced my Laptop WiFi (802.11ac) card, with a new 802.11ax card, then found a good "ax" wireless router, and even bought a new cable modem. The ASUS AX3000 was easy to setup, and came with a great online software package, that was extensive, but easy to work with. Did it do any good? Well, now I am getting the full connection that I am paying for, and it seems to be rock-steady. None of the up and down fluctuations of old. My first ASUS unit. Very small footprint, and can be mounted most anywhere. Bright powerful indicator lights on top front of unit. Nice...

Good router, worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well. I get consistent high throughput on internet with this router. I have had to reset it 1-2 times per year, which is reasonable. Overall, I am happy with this router. Pro: I like the guest network ability to connect my IoT devices and keep separation from my server and files. Con: Have difficulty with zoom conferences in other rooms in my house. Had to install an access point to solve the problem.

No problems so far!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Good coverage, Price Cons: No advanced gaming features, ASUS app not as good as Netgear's Decided to buy an ASUS router this time around instead of a Netgear after having to return 3 Netgear Nighthawks so far. No problems with it so far. The ASUS app needs to be polished, nothing wrong with it, but it need to add some features like a speed test. The app also looks a little dated and a little confusing to use. The performance is the main concern, though. I live in a house with 4 people. All of them have laptops, phones, and stream shows on TV. I'm a PC gamer and I have not had any problems with this router yet. Wi-Fi 6 isn't completely mainstream yet, but we are getting there with the new iPhone's coming out and even new Wi-Fi compatible motherboards having Wi-Fi 6 as the standard, so it's nice to have a Wi-Fi 6 compatible router.

The speeds this thing can put out and range are great and hasn't failed me like my last one. It never disconnects me and never has any stutters. If you're in the market for a new router this is a must have.

Lots of features and power, but bad UI.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great router for the price if you have a WiFi-6 compatible device. If you don't get something cheaper. If you want to future-proof, still a good choice. But in my opinion, routers aren't really worth future-proofing. The performance and features of this router is extensive, and 80% of people may be unnecessary, so it may be totally overkill. But for my specific use case, this router has been a great choice based on the past few days. It has good range and I can get a full signal from the 2nd floor of my house, when the router is placed in the basement. Excellent build quality as well. With that being said, I don't know what is it with ASUS, but their UI for the router's control panel is atrocious. It honestly looks like someone slapped LED multi-color rave into the UI of a router from the mid 2000's. It's quite difficult to find options inside the control panel, and having a dark background with slightly brighter letters aren't really that great when it comes to legibility.

Excellent Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup. Don’t think, just but it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really easy to setup compared to other brands. I’ve setup a bunch of different brands using browsers and apps. This is by far the easiest one to use and navigate. Performance and range are also better than expected. Give it a shot

Finally! A router that just works!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a 6 month old $300 Netgear router that dropped connection daily and required full factory reset every other week. I will simply say that this Asus router works unbelievably well. I have a 2400 Sq ft home and there are no dead spots. I have about 40+ devices connected( smart switches, smart bulbs, multiple alexa devices, game consoles, smart garage door openers and smart appliances) Point is, this router handles everything with zero hiccups. You will also notice a small #6 on your phone's wifi status which is indicative of the Wi-Fi 6. When ever there are power surges, the router is back up and running on its own in about 2 minutes. No power cycling required. As my tile says, this router just works and does its job!!

Good wifi6 wireless router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about updating to the latest standard, but this router is performing better than I expected. I have turned of the 2.4 and 5 ghz radios supplied with the gateway from my ISP. I have a 3200 square foot home and after apply the latest firmware to the ASUS router I have very substantial coverage even outdoors which were troublesome before. We have a lot of smart switches and outlets and this has improved the stability, speed And coverage in our 3 level home.

decent enough for older devices, good, for the $
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.pro-diminutive size-was surprised how small it was. seems to run fairly cool, too, and online pics show what seem to be pretty substantial heatsinks. +Merlin. good range, about like my old ac3100. this is handling multiple devices at a time with streaming over a fiber connection. the cpu and memory usage is definitely low enough. we have several tablets, 2-3 smart tvs going, a pc constantly streaming, one gaming device or other always going, multiple phones, cameras. Probably 35 devices on network and seems to handle nicely. pings and responsiveness and stuff seem good so far. nice ability to control and shut off devices on android app. there has been only one issue with this, and it is significant. we have 3 new smartphones, 2 Samsung and 1 LG with android 10 and none of them can maintain a 5ghz wifi internet connection on this router. all will work fine with an old ac router on 5ghz and will work here on 2.4. i guess there is some issue involving android 10 and wifi (wifi6?) I have tried multiple things, turning off AX, putting on legacy mode, changing the bandwidth, changing the channel, nothing seems to work...these devices have be set to forget 5ghz. another older s9+ with android 10 maintains a 5ghz connection just fine. a ton of online searching has revealed no solution for me. so i would not recommend if you care about 5ghz wifi on android 10 on a wifi6 capable device. for non wifi 6 devices seems to be nice and stable and has performed well. whether this is an Asus issue or Android or samsung/LG issue or all of the above, I do not know, nor do expect any kind of fix, either.
