I'm pleased with it's performance. The 6 gear makes a big difference.

First of all, if all you're interested in is Wi-Fi in your game room, then this router is awesome. It was very easy to set up. So, if this is your need, then this is the router for you. But, to me, the only thing keeping this router from being a 5 star router is it's Wi-Fi range. I don't have a huge house by any means, but it could barely get a signal to my smart TV in the master bedroom in the far corner, but same side, of the house. Something the provided Spectrum router had no problem doing...so that was a little disappointing. On a positive note, I did purchase a ASUS RT-AX55 AX1800 router to add as a node and setting it up to work with this router couldn't have been easier. So, if you're depending on this router to provide signal to devices for more than 30 feet through walls, plan on buying at least one extender.

Easy setup. This improved my wifi speeds. My old touter was capping my speeds.

Saw a massive increase in WIFI coverage and LAN internet speeds when switched to the router from the original Spectrum router. Great app as well. Very informative

I recently purched this router to upgrade from the default modem the company around here installs. The reach it has is excellent and the speeds are great. It also has built in security and vpns! I would highly suggest this to anyone who is looking for a reasonable upgrade!

Easy to set up, stable connection. Has auto switching between 2.4 to 5 depending on range. The control from the gateways website is very easy and useable. It’s simple and it just works. I had a netgear r8000 nighthawk that wouldn’t cooperate with a gaming website. WiFi 6 seems pretty cool once I start to integrate WiFi 6 capable appliances.

Great router. Fast speeds and solid connection for fast internet. Has lots of features and gets updates. Great for gaming, and great even if you are not a gamer.

Had a Netgear AC1750 and it was the worst piece of garbage that was slightly better than what I replaced for use for work from home. Finally gave in a bought this ASUS router and everything is night in day. Stability, design, app, speed…. All better. Do I love this router so much or am I just comparing to my hate of the dumpster fire that is Netgear.

I bought this router because it was going to have to sit in plain sight in my living room and wanted something that looked cool rathen than the standard box. I also needed a router that worked great with Home Assistant integrations. This checked both boxes. It turned out to have a crazy number of features compaired to my ISP’s router combo which I love.

Connects great to Home telecom and Spectrum. Zero issues and makes the WiFi reach every angle of the house.

I got this router after returning a new Netgear router that refused to sustain a WIFI broadcast for more than 30 minuets before completely crashing. The setup on this router was shockingly easy to do. I told the family that the WI FI was going down for at least a few hours to set the new router up. This wonderful little spaceship looking router was up and running in 15 minutes. My son has already commented on the much faster downloads speeds on his XBOX and he is on the other side of our house from where the router is located. The streaming for our 4K smart TV is very stable and and everything loads up much faster now. The biggest surprise is the ease of using the features like monitoring how much data each device is using. Setting up the web filtering for my children is very simple with the GUI interface that ASUS put on this router. All in all so far I am very happy with this new router, it easily beats out other brand routers that cost two or three times as much. Thank you ASUS for putting out this awesome winner.

Great performance. not to bad of a set-up. Had to call ASUS and change to the stock matrix for it to work properly with my system. The ASUS tech walked me through it easy enough step by step.... Only issue is sometimes my microwave causes the streaming service of the TV to lag/buffer but never effect gamming.

Awesome router with amazing range and runs way better than the stock modem

Bought this after our Netgear router bricked itself in the middle of a firmware update. Spent some time doing some research and this checked all boxes with out breaking the bank. Wifi 6 dual band. we do a lot of streaming and gaming and there is not lag ever from this anywhere in our house. Easier to set up and maintain than any other router i have ever had.
