The range of the WiFi is superb, We don't have a single dead zone in our two story house now that we upgraded to this router. I encourage you greatly to buy this, if you need a router upgrade for gaming/work from home, or just increased coverage. This is an amazing router!

My family has on average 20+ devices connected to wi-fi throughout the day doing everything from basic browsing to streaming and gaming, and work-from-home over VOIP. So far this hasnt been a challenge for the router. The remote admin app is also very robust, ensuring 2factor ID to allow remote access outside of the network. The settings are fairly easy to navigate through the app with a very gamer-inspired GUI. Havent used the gaming mode yet as its not really needed to prioritize one device; but it can be set up to prioritize *types* of tasks other than just gaming too. Overall, easy to set, admin and use.

Debated on the note expensive ASUS router but that one was way more and this route does exactly what I need it to. Would’ve liked if they did a non-rgb one and added features for the same price.

I set this up a couple of days ago as an AiMesh router and made an old T-mobile Cellspot router (AC1900) the AiMesh node. So far, the coverage is nice. Much better than my previous tri-band set up with a TP-Link AC3200. Going back to dual-band didn't hurt since my speeds went up drastically and home coverage actually expanded to cover my whole home plus the porch and lawn. My wired speeds are far exceeding my 500mbps plan (pulling 750-ish consistently), but that was to be expected. My wifi speeds even with wifi 5 devices are getting maxed (anywhere from 300mbps-500mbps). Really nice. Really nice, indeed.

It handles our wifi load with no problem. It is also located at the far end of the house and reaches everywhere. Set up was very simple.

Do not look further, but you may need professional installation if you are a novice. I upgraded my internet service, so I did not need it anymore. Nevertheless, I will recommend.

Just make sure when plugging WAN in on router plug into ethernet port on modem (Im not so smart and it took me 2 hrs at least to figure this one thing out).
