Design was amazing but support and everything else was bad First had issues setting it up; called asus and they said the router is defective when it took me some manually playing around to make it work. The range was horrible l, at times was being disconnected , my ring doorbell had a poor connection. Added a mesh adapter which didn’t help much / finally got rid of asus… unfriendly foreign people while speaking with them they didn’t understand/told me incorrect information — didn’t give me much of an impression of this company

Good router, make sure your modem and internet plan goes up to 800 mbps or it’ll be useless

Great router, works for my gaming peripherals and fast setup

Bought this to replace my older router (2 yrs old). It has better range and is a bit faster than its predecessor. I have had it for 3 weeks and did not have many issues with the installation and none with its operation so far. It's a dual band wi-fi6 so it was an upgrade from what I had. It was on sale and I had a credit so the price was not bad. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 not for its performance but due to the cost of continuing to upgrade very couple of years. Today's electronics can nickel and dime you to death

Its okay not as good as i expected for as much as it cost have connection problems with some devices and didnt help game lag or ping

I recently moved into a Spectrum service area. Their internet service has a lot of problems, but the worst is how they handle their routers. Usually I don't mind renting routers from my service provider, it keeps me up to date with technology without having to spend mountains of cash for my own equipment. That changed with Spectrum. You can't just log into a Spectrum router. Oh no. You log into an app, exclusively from your phone, through the internet. That's a massive security risk on its own, but the app is beyond basic, and when I had problems setting up a Chromecast I gave up and bought this Asus router instead. The Asus Router is simple and easy to setup. It lacks wall mounting holes, but is otherwise a nice box. Wi-Fi 6 is a good thing to have, and I certainly can't complain about the massive range I get on my Wi-Fi network now. I debated this over mesh routers but ultimately went this way because of the gaming port and the optional aimesh technology. I haven't had any Wi-Fi related problems with this router on my network, and I honestly have no real complaints. It's pricey but it works. The best thing I can say about it is that I haven't had to touch it once since setting it up, which is fantastic. Recommended.
