Overall this is a very good router. I compared the speeds to my cable-provided router and the ASUS was faster. However, it isn't quite as fast when you are close to it. Speed is much faster at medium and longer distances. This is something that Consumer Reports noted as well.

Fantastic router. Wifi 6 is amazing, obviously not as a good as an ethernet connection but as running a wired connection to my pc was not possible given the location of the coax cable this was a great alternative.

My last router was great, but this was is even better. The app is also a great addition. I love the controls and speeds. I even love the led lights

I have a been a netgear guy for a long time, was looking a something different and I am glad I tried this router. It crazy fast ,easy to set up, and the app is 100 times better than netgears. Great buy, good job asus!

This router has really helped our connection. With a lot of gaming and streaming happening in our household it allowed me to make my devices a priority...since I set it up I get the spoils!

I purchased this router in August from my local Best Buy after my last router was zapped during a bad storm. After discussing what i was looking for with a sales associate, she was head over heels crazy about this router. Well, either i just got a bad one or they're just junk! When it works, it works fine, but AT LEAST 5 times a day I have ro reset it. I don't do any gaming at all, just stream TV on 2 TV's and have some cameras around the house. The TV's constantly freeze and the cameras always go out. I've had some cheap routers that didnt have these issue. Completely disappointed with this router!

Had to get a new router to replace my old one and decided on this! Got it home set up and everything within minutes super easy to get hooked up and running would highly recommend

I absolutely love this thing. It is far reaching and very stable. I was sold on Netgear, but this is so much better. Would recommend to anyone needing a router.

We needed to upgrade from an older model. This is worlds better than the outdated equipment we had. My husband's xbox would constantly lag and it no longer does.

I bought this as a replacement for an aging Linksys Router. I have had three Linksys Routers leading up to this purchase. I have not been disappointed yet. Good for gaming as well as whole home devices.

It was a bit tricky to set up and the tech support at ASUS tried to help but got frustrated and quit trying to help. In spite of that, I finally got it up and running eventually and it has been quite fast!

I use this as a range extender for my Asus AC 3100. The setup was simple and was up and running in 10 minutes. Replaced my Netgear EX7000 that continuously dropped the wi-fi connections.

Overall great router! Compared to my old nighthawk, this thing is night and day better. I have a multitude devices on the router at home between echos, xbox, pc, etc. and I never have any issues with my wifi.

Bought this due to our nighthawk r7000 taking a crap on us. This has been way better than the nighthawk. Not a single dead zone in my whole house!

Great coverage in a small to medium footprint without a repeater/mesh. Works well with VPN service for entire house encryption for devices that can’t run their own protection.

Pros: Fast supports bridged mode for 2 gigabit connection to your router. Wifi is strong and fast the web interface and app for the router are very comprehensive and simple to use. Cons: none so far

This router has a really solid connection with dozens of devices. Allows our cable modem to work above cable rating of 800mb/sec. The improvement is tremendous over our last modem for just $50 more.
