I made the eeros AP’s to still have a mesh network. However, you lose features such as children profiles. No biggie because Asus has that option… but… they dont always show you the traffic for each device and it’s not easy to identify which device to put in the profiles.

I have it paired with the Surfboard S33 (an amazing product also) and together they work great. So far I've experienced no random internet drops or weak wifi signal, like I did with the cable companies modem/router.

A bit on the expensive side, but the mage meant and extra features as well as dual band for compatibility helps a lot in the transaction and use of older devices. also great for speeds through wi-fi when absolutely needed when there is no ethernet jack.

Same App and Web interface that I know and like. ASUS routers have outstanding WiFi range that I need and appreciate.

We have 15 plus devices and their is no buffering while playing games or streaming video. Plus our phones are connected to and it’s great.

The main downside - it doesn't work reliably. Everything was fine for two weeks. Then on 15th day lights were still on but no LAN connection and no WiFi. Power cycling recovered it. I need a reliable router and returned it paying more for RT-AX86U that actually works.
