I’m going to be the first to admit that I know very little about routers (or the internet in general). I know just enough to know how to run a speed test, and I know what speeds I need to be able to stream shows or game. I invested in this router when my roommate moved out and I had to set up internet in my name. It’s made a world of difference! I really like the dual-band option. I’m getting 2x-3x the download and upload speeds that I was with my ISP’s router, depending on which network I use. Setup was incredibly easy, and the ASUS app is very user-friendly and easy to understand.

- While Asus is less known for there network products then other brands, the quality of that router is very good. It is very easy to setup using the iOS or Android app or the Web interface, which also provides more options. - The quality of the signal is significantly better then my previous router, especially in the other rooms. - I do not need all the features it provides, but it is nice to know they are supported if needed. - Price was better then other comparable product. Minor cons: no support for Wifi 6E, only Wifi 6. But currently not many device support it and routers with Wifi 6E are significantly more expansive.

This is a great router for the price. I work in IT and this is always my go to router for residential. It runs WIFI 6 so it’s definitely modern. I have 1Gb/s download and upload from my ISP, using this router I run about 800-900mb/s down and 800mbps uploaded wired and about 300-400mbps down and 150-200mbps upload over WIFI 5G, and about 150-200mbps over 2.4GHz. I usually have at least 5 devices running at all times sometimes upwards of 10, and it has no problems doing such.

Awesome router provides great network coverage and lightning fast speeds. The mobile app makes it easy to see how the network is performing and lets you know when to perform a firmware update.

This system does its job as well as I had hoped. No issues in the few years I have owned it.

I purchased this ASUS router after my Netgear Nighthawk started losing internet connection for a few minutes each day. The Netgear router was less than 9 months old and had a one year warranty on hardware. However, it would cost about $140 in order for a Netgear service plan in order for them to determine if it was indeed a hardware issue. I chose to instead buy the new ASUS. I have more than 30 wireless devices including 4 televisions. It has been working flawlessly for more than a month now. Even though my cable modem and router is in our basement I am getting over 400 Mbps throughout our 2,300 SF house. I originally considered a mesh network but found that unnecessary with this router. Highly recommend.

Bought this to replace a linksys router that became a PITA to setup. Some i gave shot to ASUS and was very pleased at the ease of use of the app to setup. Impressed so far!

Works great. Purchased with the intention of adding it as an AI Mesh node to our existing ASUS Wi-Fi 6 setup. Easily added into the system. Seems to be working great.

This thing was awesome for our internet. We had high speed in a place that’s usually super spotty.

This router is very strong. I replaced another 4 year old Asus router with this and the new one sends Wifi ACROSS THE STREET! I used all the settings from my old Asus and all the connected devices, Echos, Apple TVs, regular TVs all reconnected immediately. I like that I can choose the frequency (2.4 or 5) for each device, so I have all the low demand (plugs, lights, etc) on 2.4 and the rest on 5. All gaming machines are directly connected to the 3 ports on the router, and the 4th port is connected to a Netgear unmanaged switch. All seamlessly!

Has lasted me the last 6 months great build. Speeds are way better than the providers router.

I needed a router that could handle my devices and have good range and thruput. This router does that and more. So far, no problems.

Works great 99% of the time. Every now and then i have random connection issues on different devices.

Works great and the app makes it easy to set up and control your internet. Set up took maybe 10 minutes.

Bought this as a replacement for a router that coulent keep up with the number of devices in my home. Its been working great.

I can't believe how many features are packed with this router it's insane. I work in IT so this router really surprised me with all the tools, security features, and monitoring options available with it out of the box. You don't need to configure anything to benefit from the security features but you can fine tune so many features on this devices it's astonishing.

I needed equipment to get me the performance and hv the needed power and I got exactly that The tech was so helpful
