Great router! Setup was easy. Great wifi, many options for configurations including mesh, and super quiet.

Great router and super fast as it reduced my ping in the games I play significantly.

Worked out of the box. But required significant firmware (including third-party merlin) to get it working optimally.

Had netgear before this and does this work wonders over netgear. I was ALWAYS having to reset the router on the netgear. Will stick with Asus from now on. Plus any old asus routers you have can act as a mesh with this new router. I get more speed on my phone through wifi than I pay for up and down.

Great gaming router, bought this because my netgear cax30 started having issues with the wireless portion so I decided to buy this router and keep my netgear as a modem (disabled the wifi), wireless speeds almost doubled from my netgear, highly recommended, if you are using a PS5 go into the network settings to force it to use 5ghz otherwise it defaults to 2.4, playstation settings not the router’s.

Took me by surprise that such a featured router could be under the 300-400 price range. Does take awhile to fully boot the router software on power on but is the new expected as they start to make more and more efforts to add in small business small enterprise features that normally are incorporated with larger network appliances. Coveres 2500 sq ft home. Only interference is by kitchen appliances but as expected.

Very solid router. Link aggregate lets me take full advantage of my 1.2Gbps internet connection. Has excellent speed and coverage for a number of wireless devices. Able to get about 800Mbps downloads from across the apartment with my PC.

Good range and speed. The upload and download numbers are showing much higher than my prior router did, but it doesn't seem like stuff is loading and running as fast as the numbers say. I would like to be able to choose to run a device off of 2.4 or 5 ghz. It seems to choose for you. I just might not have figured it out yet.

This is a wonderful device! Not tok difficult to set up. Works well with my wifi!

Went from 80mbps wired to 750. WiFi from 75 to 500-650. Great improvement over 6 year old ac1750. ASUS products do not disappoint. Had a little trouble initial setup but got it all worked out with ASUS tech support. Great router fir 2000 sq ft house. Even have good WiFi in back yard.

Love the ASUS app to configure, update and maintain the router for all level of users.

It was very easy to setup with the mobile app. No problems connecting 20+ devices.

Upgraded to this from an RT-AC6U that could not get much past 350 mbps on an 500 mbps fiber feed. The RT-AX86S BLASTS it out with great range, Even at 45' the 5g is good enough for 4K HDR on a Firestick, testing at 277 mbps. I will re-set the old one and try using it for Aimesh. Set it up with same SSIDs and WPA as old one and every device was none the wiser.

Upgraded to a 1Gbps internet speed. The isp router that was given was only giving me 200-300mbps on wifi. I switched to this router and im getting over 800mbps-900mbps! Setup was extremely easy as well and the ability to turn of the led lights is an extra plus!
